What I have here is a reference guide for people who want to know where The 10 Doctors and other comics fit into the Doctor’s experiences and timeline. The season divisions and incarnation divisions are marked in bold and the instances where the Doctor has experienced the comic stories are marked with an * and are in italics.

A couple of notes:

• In some cases where a NuWho episode is a multi-parter I’ve grafted the stories together with a hyphen. This is simply because I have no intention of putting anything between them. There are other places where this COULD be done, but I only did this for my own reference where I felt I needed it.
• Yes, I accept the “Fanon” season 6b because it makes good sense to me and also offers an entire block of time to create more adventures for the 2nd Doctor without worrying about messing up his continuity too much. I have marked in there where he experienced his other multi-Doctor stories as well. I would do the same for the others except that I’m not sure where they fit in. If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to leave them as comments in the correct news entry and I’ll consider your arguments.
• Yes, I consider Dimensions in Time to be part of the list. It’s crap, but it’s not the worst canon Who.
• I also put Attack of the Grasske down as a part of the list. I know it’s a game, not an episode, but what the hell. I may take it out at some point, but for now it amuses me to consider it part of the 10th Doctor’s experiences.
• No, I have no intention of including spinoff episode lists at this point. I may later, but for now I’m only concerned with Doctor Who itself.
• No, I have no intention of including spinoff media stories at this time. No Missing Adventures, no New Adventures, no Audio stories, no fanfics… this is what I am currently considering “canon” for purposes of my fan comic(s).

Thanks to Dan for the suggested placements for the various Doctors’ experiences in the multiple Doctor episodes: The Three Doctors, The Five Doctors and The Two Doctors.

I have also altered the 23rd season episodes (The Trial of a Time Lord) to be shown as the Doctor experienced them rather than as the viewers did. Since the entire season was about the Doctor being put on trial and the stories were examples from his past and future, they are not sequentially chronological as broadcast. They also aren’t accurate, since it is stated that the evidence was tampered with. So his actual experiences in those episodes differ from what we saw during the trial.

The reason I did this will be made clear… sometime.

I have annotated the list with a few notes on what was going on with the Doctor’s life that may not be clear from the episodes.

I have also included the lost Season 23 of Colin Baker’s era. Mostly because I have the novels of the first three. I stole the lineup from the Big Finish announcement that they’ll be producing the audio dramas of them, and added “The Ultimate Evil”. I will assume for the moment that they’re all 6th Doctor/Peri adventures. Waiting for signs of Mel’s original introduction story where she and the Doctor battle the Master who’s trying to infect the Earth with a computer virus.

I have made an executive decision about the order of the Trial season 23, with how Mel and the 6th Doctor coordinate with events in the episodes.
