We trucked off to Montreal, where adventure awaited! The following is a compilation of photos that were taken over the course of the week at the con. We didn’t see everything there was to see, we didn’t take photos during panels, and some photos taken are not being put up for privacy/relevance issues, but you’ll get the gist of things anyway! I (Hilary) really should have made sure to get photos of myself with Guy Gavriel Kay and Larry Niven when I had those chances, but I’ve never been a fast trigger with remembering the camera.

Rich and Heather Reunite!
YAFGC readers will remember Lady Marion of Heatherdale, the Wood Elf who sponsored the bardic tourney in a previous plotline. Lady Marion and her ever-faithful Ben are based on real people, Heather Dale and Ben Deschamps, phenomenal Canadian musicians who can be found at Heatherdale.com
We’ve had the pleasure of their company a few times in the past, and found out through the grapevine that Heather and Ben had seen the YAFGC strips and were (mostly) thrilled with the whole thing. Knowing that we’d be seeing them this week, Rich took the chance to draw some portraits of their YAFGC incarnations as a gift.
