In the 6th Doctor’s first episode, “The Twin Dilemma”, he implies that Azmeal and the 4th Doctor had been out drinking together, drinking enough that Azmael, at least, was sloshed enough to wind up in a fountain.
The 6th Doctor’s radio adventure “Slipback” has the 6th Doctor with the hiccups and hungover after an evening of drinking too much that he barely remembers.
You know, I’ve known people whose birthdays fell between Christmas Eve and Boxing Day, but I’m not sure that this isn’t the first time I’ve encountered someone whose birthday fell on the Festivus for the Rest of Us!

Ah yes….
Thing is, I *am* left handed. So I tend, instinctively, to draw what I’m comfortable with. I have to remember consciously to reverse the hands to make characters right handed. So often I’ll get so caught up in the action and drawing that it happens.
Sorry if anyone’s offended by the pervasiveness of left-handedness in my worlds. But well, there it is.

(I don’t know why I didn’t comment before, but it was great to see the new comic… i really enjoyed “house of Paulus”)
HAPPY NEW YEARS RICH AND HILARY!!
here’s to another year of kickass comics and tons of people to enjoy them, and you guys having fun making ‘em.
You know, a final 6th Doctor story would be cool since the get shot down by the Rani and crash was lame. The guy deserved a dramatic ending, while the Rani shooting him down would remain, like where the Doctor, after a few adventures with Mel from the audio series, seems bothered at seeing his dark reflection of himself who called himself the Valeyard during the trial which bothered him while he knew the Master was telling him the truth about everyone having a dark side, because if the truth works better then the lie, then he would be more then happy to use it if it would badly effect the Doctor.
The Trickster, from the Sarah Jane Adventures, sensed this possible evil during the trials and thinks an evil Doctor would created much chaos in the universe and sends an agent of his to manipulate the Doctor to do great evil, even to do good, all for the purpose to make the Valeyard a real thing then just a shadow with limitations. (For continuity purposes) The Trickster doesn’t meet with the Doctor in person since their first meeting seems to be in SJA while the Trickster doesn’t care who the Doctor is now, but what he could be, since he learned about the Doctor fighting evil in the universe from Sarah Jane.
Using borrowed power from the Trickster, who the Doctor has heard about, he manipulates reality to create situations to force the Doctor to submit to his dark side, while it proves to be harder then expected since it become a battle of wits that puts it’s toll on the two with the risk of burning out.
Let’s just say that it ends where the Doctor is left damaged from within and that he can feel that a regeneration is about to begin, while lying to Mel that he’s alright as they enter the Tardis to leave while minutes later are attacked by the Rani where they crash land on Lakertya, but while this is happening, the Doctor tries to focus hard enough to steer the Tardis as small evidences of electrical energy, sparks you could say, on his body is revealed to show that the end of his sixth life is becoming closer and closer, then as you know, they crash and Mel and the Doctor is on the floor unconscious as the Rani and her Tetraps servants enter the Tardis and when one of the Tetraps turns the unconscious Doctor around, he changes.
Interesting story. Are you proposing that I do this as a comic? I do my own material, thanks.

Happy New Year, Rich, Hilary and family! I greedily anticipate a 2010 full of the Doctor and Paulus and friends!
Not really, Rich, just stating that the 6th Doctor deserved better and the fact that even though pretty much everyone knows that they have a dark side, meeting that dark side in person would be like a theory becoming fact which would effect even someone like the Doctor. That there’s a possibility that a guy who’s been fighting evil could become one of those evils which the Valeyard proved that possibility to be true in front of the Doctor’s eyes and the 6th Doctor’s greatest character flaw was his vanity where he perhaps wore that multi-color coat to be the center of attention and something like the Valeyard would probably threaten that prideful vanity which he would perhaps have to let go if he’s going to save the day.
I’m not expecting anything. Just starting a simple discussion.

When you get done with The Stalker of Norfolk, how about a 4th Doctor story? As you have such a big mancrush on Scarfboy, you should nurture it. Maybe another 5/Nyssa tale (I’ve got one in the works myself which also features original characters of mine – ask Captshade), or even a 6/Mel story (you drew her far more attractively at the end of The Ten Doctors than you did at the start). I’m just tossing out notions for you to play with – stirring those creative juices, doncha know?

Nothing unusual about that. Wealthy house slaves were often well educated and were often used to teach children of wealthy families.

TrivialofAus, why not use bit torrent to download it? there’s lots of torrent sites, including private ones, where an HDTV (or normal screen res) AVI copy of the show can be downloaded, plus it’s likely been broken up into small pieces and uploaded to youtube by someone by now as well.
It’s out, you don’t got to rely on your TV to see it, this is the modern era lol.
