I wonder what Sidney is suggesting in the last panel…definately something to watch out for it seems.

Another great Page Rich. Keep them coming

  2. Timbo13

Nice historical depth. I’m enjoying this story. A different pace to the Ten Doctors and the FK cross-over

One little niggle: I think it should be fraught, not frought

  3. Jonn Wolfe

    I really like this.

Keep wondering if there’s going to be an alien popping up somewhere… lol

  4. Countess

I think there must indeed be an alien popping up somewhere. Or, perhaps, stalking around Norfolk.

  5. DeathlySerenity

So far I am so hooked on this story!

I do so love this era in time. Infact I’ve been writing a fan episode of Doctor who based around Elizabeth Barton, a little before our first Queen Elizabeth but still in the tudor era. Where her father ruled the throne I believe.

You’re very good at clothing detail Rich, I was also suprised to learn that you were part of the team on my favourite cartoon as a child, Mona the Vampire. Just makes me love this comic even more so! :D

  6. Shinyteapot

Interesting, so this is the man who caused all the controversy :) I think Sidney is implying that the Queen might not take Dudley’s honest comments too well!

  7. The Archon

That “deadpan with a raised eyebrow” look in the 4th panel is just genius.:)

  8. Koki

The 4th panel is brilliant. The ‘O rly?’ look on his face is just priceless. Great work Rich!

  9. JustAWanderer

I just noticed that the medal on Dudley’s chest is the same design as Amye’s pendant.
I’m guessing that will turn out to be significant.

  10. King Rat

Well, they are married… I’m guessing here, not big on this part of history, but it may be symbolic of his family or position.

  11. James

Quite scared now… 14 chapters and NO ALIENS!!!!!!

  12. Anita

James: what is there to be scared of? I vaguely remember that 3 only starting fighting aliens about a year before he left. Most of the time, he was “fighting” off Terran anomalies.

Rich, great story. I had to backtrack after being offline for a while, but I’m up to date now. Carry on and really get to see the Brig soon…

  13. Orac

    Anita: Although most of his adventures were set on Earth, there were numerous excursions to other planets (thanks to the Time Lords) and many, many invasions from other planets. Ignoring the year before he left;
DW Season Seven: Nestene Consciousness (Spearhead from Space), alien ambassadors (Ambassadors of Death)
DW Season Eight: Nestene Consciousness (Terror of the Autons), an alien mind parasite (Mind of Evil), Axos (Claws of Axos), Uxariens (Colony in Space), a Daemon (The Daemons)
DW Season Nine: Daleks & Ogrons (Day of the Daleks), a whole mess of different aliens in Curse of Peladon (inc Ice Warriors), Solonians (The Mutants)
DW Season Ten: Another mess of aliens in The Carnival of Monsters, Daleks, Ogrons & Draconians (Frontier in Space), Daleks, Thals & Spirodons (Planet of the Daleks).
Easier to say which episodes didn’t have aliens in them! ;)
