The companions and friends wait impatiently for the Doctors to sort themselves out. Susan can’t take it anymore and Sarah Jane give her words of comfort. The door opens and there stands a partially dressed 10th Doctor, who announces that he is in the clear.

Now that thats off my chest, exceptional page Rich, it’s got everybody! (or just about) I love seeing all the compaions together and the cheering is great. 10 and the Brig have wonderful lines. Great comic, but now I’m afraid its going to start coming to an end.

This has been an exceptional roller coaster ride, Rich.
I suspect that the attention to detail that you provide in the end (especially if it matches the wonderful setup that you did in the beginning), will reaffirm The Ten Doctors as one of the best web comics of our time, ranking up there with such greats as “Order of the Stick” and “Day By Day.”
No pressure, pal. Just swing us around the track once more and then coast us in back to the station. I can only imagine what you have in store for us yet.. but I’ll bet that it is going to be fantastic.

What did he mean by “Look Ma!”?
Woohoooo!!! Errmm, yes, well, ahem…
This was just beautifully drawn and full of contrasts – 10’s blank expression in panel 4 vs his cheeky grin in panel 5. And the first double panel with the worry and concern etched onto the faces of the companions vs the last double panel, it just made your heart glow. Brilliant last line by the Brig, and the expression on Maxil’s face is brilliant – as if he realises just how much he misunderestimated the Doctor on their last face-off.
Brilliant stuff Rich, you’ve taken us on such a roller-coaster ride of emotions and plot twists (and controversial use of off-colour English!) over the past two years. I know it’s not over yet, but I just want to say thanks for sharing it with us, it’s been fan-TAS-tic

Oh Man, this is one excellent page. However, I feel like you cheated, by skipping an entire page as how the Doctor eliminated the Dalek portion of their mind. We last saw the Doctor physically attacking the Dalek after the Dalek offered its reasoning why it should remain, but we never see how he actually got rid of it. I was imagining some sort of illogical-logic argument used to dissolve the Dalek conditioning. Or the worst, somehow the Dalek conditioning being broken down and spread out among all ten Doctors; or the Dalek conditioning being transfered to Doctor 2.5 and then Doctor 2 unprojecting him thus dissolving the Dalek conditioning altogether.
The part I love: Maxil’s dumbfounded amazement at the group hug and the Brig’s cheer. In his defense, ten Doctors all at once is pretty awe inspiring.
Rich, one day you have to tell me why you drawn Romana 2 as taller than most others. She’s not that tall. BTW I like the three K-9s right next to each other.
Was the original line, “wonderful chap” or “splendid chap?”

Yay, group hug! 10 looks quite happy. That was so very 10 of him, where he opened the door, stared at them for a second, then made a flippant comment which assured them everything was great.
There are still a few loose ends to go, which makes me think this train hasn’t reached the station yet…can’t wait to find out what predicament our heroes will find themselves in on the next few pages!

It’s been a while since I last posted. Great job with the comic! Nice happy moment you got there with page 206. I do know that it’s not the end though, because there’s still some loose ends to tie up. For example;
Davros: “I am a guardian of time!”
I’d a thought TEN would say something alot more cheeky than that, But I guess pretending to look blank and then say something witty was rather like his “are you my Mummy” gag in the sontaran episodes.
“Look, Ma. No Dalek.”! LOL! That’s 10 for you! I’m glad that he’s ok! Great job, Rich!
The light fixture above Glitz’s head looks a bit like a halo – quite ironic really.
I’ve been following this comic since near the beginning, and while I’m sad to see that it seems to be drawing to a close, all good things must end and all that. It’s been a fabulous ride. Thanks, Rich, I’m looking forward to seeing how it all wraps up.

That is, 8 and 9 are to 6’s left (our right).

Chryse, going by your counting, I see 5, 6, 8, 9, 4, 3, 1, 2, 10. I can see why you might think 7 is between 1 and 2 because there is a vague shape resembling 7’s hat and possibly face there. But, it is far less distinct than the other 9 faces. It looks more like part of 3’s outfit and 4’s scarf to me. Maybe I am wrong.

That just reminds me of one of the early episodes of Stargate, where O’Neill recovers from being sick and says “Lucy, I’m home!” So, of course, I love it.
I still can’t help thinking there’s something else big that has to happen before the story can end. It’s like there’s an empty space in the plot or something. I suppose I’m mainly wondering what’s going to happen to make everyone forget what needs to be forgotten.
But I guess we’ll all just have to wait and see, eh?

I’m of the school that says some things that were brought up in The Ten Doctors might make it to other stories Rich has in mind – Davros’ claim to be a “Champion of Time” being one of them.
As to the page of the day – I like panels one and six, with concerned companions waiting anxiously in the former and a group hug all around when Ten comes out, with the other Doctors in the doorway.
Of course, the ending will have a bittersweetness to it – not just for us (and Rich, I would suppose), but also for Ten and Nine.
The1Russter: It’s not cheating that Rich declined to show how the Doctor vanquished the Dalek conditioning. Personally, there’s no way to visualize such a moment that would look ridiculous to someone. So, Rich made the decision to leave that dramatic bit to the reader’s imagination.
Awww..cute touch with even the Rani cracking a grin…and I notice 2.5 is standing next to her.

Excuse me *dries off excessively wet face* but this one page is probably my most favourite out of everything thus far. It actually brought tears to my eyes to see Ten back on his feet and his trademark grin. Well-done, sir, well-done.

This is fantastic! We’ve all had to come to terms with the fact that an uber-epic doctor who special with all ten doctors was not going to happen on TV. But THIS, free from the constraints of the budget, and the production, and the timings and the foibles of scriptwriting that we have come to be resigned to. THIS is the uber-epic special, in my mind there is no question of continuity, kudos Rich!
Cheer up! Enjoy this and don’t worry, I’m sure Rich has in mind a lot of interesting projects, we’ll see-sooner or later! Perhaps this story’s got a long way to go yet (I hope!), but otherwise, don’t be afraid: sometimes the end is just the beginning of something else, and something lovely too!

However, the fact this great adventure, which has kept thousands captivated for almost 2 years is coming to an end really now it’s home, and I wish it didn’t have to end. Your skill with writing and drawing made this the equal, if not better then some of the new series we have seen. i hope you will return to the Doctor Who Universe sometime.

I like this page overall, but, I guess, it seems rushed to me. That has to be the quickest anyone’s ever dealt with a dalek. I guess I was picturing the Quantum Doctor ripping the casing apart, revealing 10 inside under some masks(like Davros and a mutant, as an homage to The Prisoner), slowly weakening Dalek Tor, then smashing all the Dalek parts, totally freeing 10 who then merges with Quantum Doctor before going back to the 10 of them, with 10 now being whole, instead of separated.
Also, panel 1 has so many companions that I have to consult the list of Who’s Who to figure some of ‘em out.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go listen to the theme to”K-9 & Company.”

This is just a brilliant page all around. Every single panel is exceptionally well drawn (even more so than your usual, heh)! It got ME smiling just looking at it and reading… really wonderful stuff.
And although I can see how this comic is slowly drawing to a close (heh, that was a terrible pun I made without even meaning to…), there most certainly are some lose ends to clear up… for instance, how will everyone’s memories be erased? Hmm..!

Making a story about Davros’ remark of ‘Champion of Time’ will be cool- it’ll hard to do a whole story on a massive Doctor Who villain though (by that I mean the main character is the villain).

Hmm, Trevory–now *that* sparks an interesting bit of thought…a story where Time Dalek Ahn does something Massively and Stupidly Destructive and Nihilistic, and *Davros* of all people has to try to step in and fix it, due to it being hard for the Daleks to rule a destroyed universe…
And what about those ‘Cyburians’ back on Present Day Earth? Surely that’ll give ‘em something to clean up.
I keep noticing people picking on the little bits of “undone” storylines left around. It recalls when I was reading Claremont’s run of X-Men stories back in the day – in some of his stories, certain things (some of them major) would happen off-panel, and I find Rich’s storytelling refreshing in a similar vein.
So take a chill, y’all.

Hey Rich your canadian right? Well if you are you missed a Doctor who epsoide on TV. It was the christmas one called ” The Next Doctor”. It was on chanel 50 (space) I watched it last night, it was so cool you should have seen it. Well you might have I don’t know but it was AMAZING! It was like a an hour and a half long. You never know there might be a re-run, I saw one today. Well just letting you know about that epsoide because it was never showen it Canada only in the UK.

WWAZdoctor: I’m sorry; what makes you think you can DEMAND anything, here? Rich is telling his story at his own pace, and so far he’s done an excellent job of it. Trust that he knows what he’s doing.
I agree with you hillary! Rich is doing great job and trying to do his best and he is doing this for all of us! which I am thankfull that he started this comic. thank you Hilary and Rich!

Seriously, we’re all VERY grateful to you both for the site, the story, and the other comics too. (I’ve developed a fondness for “House of Paulus”, although I originally came here for “The Ten Doctors”.) Rich’s talent is obvious in everything he posts here.

Not exactly sure what else people expect from the “getting rid of Dalek conditioning” segment, it’s been explained, we’ve seen the Uber-Doctor’s combined mind deny the Dalek conditioning, which is just a though process, not a big epic battle. And once he’s denied it, it’s no longer affecting 10’s mind, he’s himself again, it’s gone.
Hmmm. While personally I have no problem with how Rich handled it, I *can* understand why some people are acting disappointed at the ’scene cut’ as it were–when the one strip ended with Doctor Prime leaping at the Dalek, they were probably expecting a Big Fight Scene between the two.
WOOTah! Spectacularific. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Doc10. And glad he seems to be back… But to steal a point made by someone who’s too far up this list to scroll up and find his name again – Who’s to say there’s not a little Dalek still in there? Any way about it, I’m looking forward to the upcoming pages.
I imagine the UberDoctor just pushed it off the white landscape into a white dot of nothing… showing that might have dimmed the Look Ma No Dalek joke (I remember the Look Ma No Cavities ads

But we saw the dalek in Dalek, it was just your basic dalek squid – and it wanted orders. Ahan is Andred’s brain hooked up to the casing (well, most of the head too, if it is true to typical take overs) and he is anxious to find daleks to order around, not the other way.
“Look ma, no dalek.” Classic.

whoaaa WWAZdoctor, i hate to admit i was expecting a little more, but we had the big battle scene with all the bad guys allready, and I’m happy with that
, the fact that the doctor won on a mental level is all good . plus it’s all still one hell of a story, which reminds me, i gotta hang, elmo helping the doctor over the computer.
I thought about doing some tense, upclose shots of the uberDoctor and the Dalek pushing eachother back and forth… but that seemed really boring and corny to me and I was eager to get on with the story since it’s getting close to the end.

jettime, I think he just said “Look Ma…” as a joke. I mean everyone was just standing there looking at him and that’s the first thing that popped into his silly head.
I think it’s a play on words on one of those famous quotes that no one seems to know the origins of: “Look Ma – no hands!”. Usually said whilst learning to ride your bike. Usually followed by “Look Ma – no teeth!”
Rich, Hilary, others. “Demand” was a tongue in cheek, figure of speech. Relax! I love the comic, and am fully devoted to it.

Love the crowd scenes on this page. I don’t know why, but looking at 10 in the last panel makes me think of a very happy mutt (of the small, scrawny, loveable bundle of trouble variety) stretching with delight while being scratched behind the ears by his favourite human, one back leg jiggling along and drumming on the floor.
Even the Rani looks kind of happy the Doctor made it. Emphasis on ‘kind of’
