The 10 Doctors – Page 202

The 10 Doctors merge their consciousnesses, experiencing each others memories past and future. Then, combined into one mighty Doctor, they face off against the Dalek conditioning.

Y’know, written down, that sounds stupid.

  1. WalksInEternity

Rich: ROFL! Pertwee’s ‘Who is the Doctor’ lyrics! Very good!

  2. Sean

Ooh! Ooh! New game! Try and find bits of each Doctor in that…Doctor-ish thing…

Very excellent! And yes, it does sound stupid written down, but it’s hardly your fault.

  3. IHatePears

Awsom, but that mix of 8 and that outfit is kinda funny, I love how there’s a quote and item of each doctor Awsom

  4. Jess

    ULTIMATE DOCTOR!
I really really do love you Rich… :)

  5. De la Granja

Awesome – absolutely freaking awesome. Seeing this update more than makes up for the fact I’ve stayed up til 4 a.m. packing :)

  6. Stacey

And I say who’s doctor who?

    Sorry,I couldn’t resist that one

  7. XBen

“Y’know, written down, that sounds stupid.”

    But visualized, it’s awesome!

  8. Snaresman

Wow! Quotes from each doctor, taken from the show – that sir is awesome.

I love the 10-in-1 doctor. He looks a bot more like 8 than anyone else though.

  9. Metacrisis

Oh that is just brilliant really!

  10. McGann's the Mann

i feel terrible for saying this but shouldn’t that be an orange/satuma at the end for 10 (unless its actually a pear which i think would be hillarious as 10 hates pears, a great way to break the conditioning!)

I love the 1-10 doctor, especially as he looks mostly like 8 (as my names suggest i am rather fond of 8!)

speaking of the ultimate doctor i have a theory Northern docotrs are better than southerners, Tom baker, McCoy, McGann, Eccelstone and Tennant all form the north of england or Scotland while all the others are form greater london, so the more northern you are the greater a doctor you are, which means McCoys is the best, hang on, well no theory is perfect (McCoy is brillient though!) oh sod it the theory doesn’t work, beause they are all the best and it is therefore this super Doc that Rich has created which is the best because he is all of them!

  11. Helen

Lmao the JELLY BABIES! (I really thought they was peanuts at first, And LOL at not necessaryily in that order)
    I love the Pertwee lyrics!

  12. Rich

He does look a lot like the 8th Doctor, that I couldn’t help. It’s the hair. It’s supposed to look like a sort of young Hartnell with elements of all the others.

As for the objects, specifically the orange/apple thing in the 10th Doctor’s panel, I wasn’t sure… I couldn’t remember and didn’t have any reference on hand. I remembered it being an apple. Doh.
Similarly, the quotes are all from memory, I hope I got them right enough.

  13. Sammy

All I can see of Ten are his sideburns!

  14. Mosuke

I’ll admit, I was wibbling at all the quotes. They capture each of the Doctors perfectly. And the items were wonderful.

BY OUR POWERS COMBINED, I AM DOCTOR WHO. :D :D :D

  15. Metacrisis

10 first finds an apple in his pocket, and later the satsuma, so the apple still knda works

  16. McGann's the Mann

Rich don’t worry about the Fruit 10 saved the would with an orange and considers pears more important than relationships, there is a distinct fruit obsession about him!

its obvious that 8 should have a dominant look just before they announced Mattsmith RTD was talking about how much 8 was supposed to look like a bit of a compilation himself!

by the way am i right about the face, 9’s hard eyes, and 4’s determind mouth (and is that 5’s nose?) ignoring the clever costume i love the face it conveys so much power and determination, a splendid face, all of them

  17. The Voyager

What an interesting compilation. I don’t see why you’d choose an apple… I thought it was a pear at first sight and had a chuckle. But, you’re the writer/drawer. Great Work Rich.

  18. Rich

It’s difficult to incorporate characteristics of 10 different actors and costumes and make it look reasonable. Really it’s more of a unique “10 Doctors” incarnation. Yes, pretty much all of the 10th Doctor that’s visible is the sideburns. There’s nothing visible of the 5th Doctor, sadly. I tried. But the first thing that came out of my pencil…. a horrible Frankensteinian mess of actors… .simply wasn’t acceptable.

  19. WalksInEternity

McGann’s the Mann : He’s got Nine’s ears, too, but they’re hidden by the hair. ;)

  20. Diran-kun

I thought they were 5’s pants, oh well.

Either way, that creature is beautiful.

  21. Nath1976

No scarf on the ultimate Doctor!?!? :)

I’m a long time reader but a first time poster….love the work Rich and really looking forward to seeing how this all ends (although I’ll be sad when it does!).

  22. Korafrax

The Uber Doctor! This is awesome!

I love the quotes, found 4s quote on a tea bottle with random quotes on it and nearly choked.

  23. Shorty

I love how you did this page Rich.
But for some reason I was really slow & didn’t realise that it was a quote from each doctor until panel 4 lol.

  24. Rassi

It took me a second to catch on to what you were doing at first, but then I liked it. But I really love the artwork in the last panel. Thanks for keeping going with this wonderful work.

  25. Lord President Lundar

You really watch a lot of power rangers, you know that right?

  26. Helen

Not power rangers, by the previous page it is more THE MATRIX, white background, zoom in to the nitty gritty, etc. Or that ad that rips it off….
The fruit in question, that he threw at the sycorax, was in fact *Pendant* a satsuma…. The fruit was in the dressing gown pocket, he took out previously and kept it there for future results and the apple was not featured on that ep.

  27. itzWicks

This kinda reminds me of Picard trying to overcome his Borg conditioning. Methinks the good Doctor will have better luck. ;-)

  28. Horntastic

    Much epicness. <3
That last panel needs to get colored as a wallpaper…

  29. Sarlania

ROFL! Tis’ awesome, especially that last panel.

  30. Luke

I really liked the panel for the Sixth Doctor, with the cats. I remember reading somewhere that Colin Baker considered his Doctor to be a “cat about town” and that was one of the reasons for the cat pins. Also, the choice of line is great. Keep up the good work!

  31. Phoenix

    Oh WOW Rich

  32. narayana

Seems appropriate for it to look most like 8 as he is the “current” doctor in the story.

  33. Vroom Socko

    All right, let’s see…

He’s got One’s posture, Two’s trousers, Four’s coat with a touch of Three, Five’s collar’s moved down to the waistcoat, Six’s cravat, Eight’s hair, Nine’s profile, and Ten’s sideburns. I suppose a ?-handled brolly, a scarf, and a decorative vegetable would have been overkill, but oh well.

I must say, this page does remind me a bit of The Forgotten, only there the associated objects and their memories were a plot point. Here, it’s a calm little moment of awesome.

  34. Lila Kooks

Here I was expecting to see One, looking young again, or The Other…*grins* I love the quotes, and I can hear each of their voices with each quote….although I must point out, Ten killed the Sycorax leader with a Satsuma (Tangerine), not an apple. He dropped the apple as his regeneration was making him worse.

  35. Mark

I can see a younger Hartnell in that face, so I think you accomplished your goal there!

Perhaps, on his lapel where we can’t see it since his hands are there, he’s wearing a sprig of celery.

I’m not sure I get the cats and shoe for 6 and 8, though (I realize that coming up with anything representative of 8 is hard seeing as his reign lasted c. 90 minutes after commercials).

  36. Vroom Socko

Mark, 6 would always have a cat-shaped pin or button on the lapel of his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. As for 8, it’s been over ten years since I last watched his installment, but I recall him not having any shoes at first, then getting a pair from Grace. If my memory hasn’t failed me, there’s a great bit where he’s going on about the Master, then says, My God… These shoes fit wonderfully!”

    Or something to that effect.

  37. kittystitcher

I’m sorry. I really am, so sorry, but I have to point it out…9’s quote. It’s a terrific quote, but…if he hasn’t met Jack yet (he hasn’t, right?) that means he hasn’t said it yet. He hasn’t had a day where everybody lives…

Yeah, you can kill me now. Anyway, great job on this page, love the Merged!Doctor! (I’m not gonna be picky about the fruit)

  38. 494alex

Lol shouldnt 10s panel have a satsuma rather than an apple?

  39. Hilary

kitty: 9 and 10 did memory share at the very beginning of the comic. :D

  40. kittystitcher

Hillary – *slaps self in head*

Why do I forget these things and make myself look silly?

  41. Hilary

Kitty: No worries; it’s a long strip to try and keep everything in your mind for. (Though the name’s only got one L, and it’s printed right above your comment, so that gets less of a pass. [mwa!] )

  42. Zamael

    NEEDS MOAR SCARF

  43. Zamael

Now that I think about it, I’d love to imagine that to be the Doctor’s very last incarnation.

  44. WhoRU?

Oh well a super duper Doctor Who. The essence of the real Doctor Who consciousness.

  45. WhoRU?

    “We are the Doctor!”

  46. Os

Aw, this is a great page. I am surprised that you didn’t use the “I feel the earth turning beneath my feet” line of Eccleston’s…

    Cheers,
    Os.

  47. mrfranklin

There simply are not enough superlatives to give this page its due.

  48. plurgid

    ROFL panel 3
    nice pull!

  49. Eala Dubh

“Dalek uses EXTERMINATE! It’s not very effective!”

What would be the best ‘RPG boss music’ to accompany that last panel? :)

  50. Solonor

One of the best pages in the entire series.

  51. Tangerine

    That’s…that’s….amazing, brilliantly amazing.

    I absolutely love his outfit.

Also great use of the ‘Who is the Doctor’ lyrics, and the quote from the TVM, it’s a little different from something like: “These shoes, they fit perfectly!” or something.

Does the amalgamation Doctor have number 10’s side burns?
    And number 4’s shoes?

  52. Mark

“kitty: 9 and 10 did memory share at the very beginning of the comic.”

Now, why do I get the feeling that that explanation was nowhere near Rich’s mind when he wrote this page…. ;)

  53. Liza

Re: 10’s fruit obsession: Don’t forget the banana daiquiris…

I loved this comic with all the Doctor props and quotes getting the “essence” of each one.

  54. rebecca

Wow! Seems we must be nearing the end now, I think…

  55. Aaron

The Ultimate Doctor. Exactly as i would imagine his final incarnation to look like. Or even if that didn’t happen all his faces and clothes from all his past regenerations would merge into one, the “Doctor” would stand up and leave for one final time in his TARDIS to go wherever Timelords who have used all their regenerations go.

  56. nightfly

I’d say there is something visible about Five in the “Ultimate Doctor” – his empathy.

Rich, you’ve outdone yourself. This is simply brilliant.

  57. Xyrian

It makes sense that it looks most like the 8th Doctor, with aspects of the others. He’s the “current” incarnation at this point in Gallifrey’s timeline (which is the only reference you can use where Time Travel is concerned), everyone else is a past or future Doctor.

  58. Stressfactor

I see Fivey’s influence in the pockets to the coat — they’ve got that darker outline that the pockets of Five’s coat had. Also, Seven has the question marks on the vest (alright, “waistcoat” for the Brits in the audience).

Oh and flippin’ awesome Rich! Holy crap this is awesome!

  59. wulfae

I loved that the three quote is from his song, that is *amazing*.

I’ve always wanted to find some pictures of a young Hartnell, just to see what the Doctor could have looked like, as a younger man.

Also? He is so Captain Planet. Mosuke nailed it.

  60. EricInWisconsin

    Fan-TAS-tic! :D Beautiful job, Rich!

I almost feel sorry for the Dalek (almost). Daleks aren’t particularly strong-willed. They follow orders too readily.. Still, he’s got some of 10 in him, so he could be remarkably stubborn.

  61. PG

Love this page! But I gotta agree about the scarf.

  62. Jay

This is like a synopsis of all the doctors in one line, great stuff!

  63. megs

Right. I wibbled. That was beautiful!

(and come someone remind me the source ep for 5’s quote?

  64. ECS

Might sound stupid — but it’s not. Beautifully, beautifully done. Especially liked the quotes you chose from 5 and 9. I stand in awe.

  65. Sloth

And now it’s time for the Time Daleks to be reminded why the only being they fear is the Doctor.

    Ka Faraq Gatri.

    Bring on the Storm.

  66. Xi Theta

EPIC SQUEE. The fangirl rears her head and starts bouncing around the room. This made my day, thank you so much, Rich!!

  67. Darren

Thinking that the “orange-apple” thing is probably the Sasuma from “The Christmas Invasion”.. defeating the Sycorrax leader with a piece of fruit.. not something that you see everyday..

  68. Darren

Suggestion though, (and I know that you thought about it).. 10’s “brainy specs” wouldn’t have looked out of place there. :)

  69. jonathan

Nothing of 5? I dunno, the pockets on the jacket look a bit like his…

  70. Percy

First reaction: wtf there’s a car floating in space!
Later reaction: wow. This page reeks of awesomeness. In a good way. A very good way. Love the shoe to represent 8. And the choices of quotes are great. And UBER-Doc! Could this page be any awesomer, I ask you. No it could not.

  71. Percy

sorry for the double post, but Two’s fancy recorder appears to have no finger holes…

  72. Joey Turks

“Today, just this once. Everybody lives!”

That line always makes me cry.

I’ve never commented before, Rich, but thank you. This has been wonderful.

  73. Lily Knotwise

I was joking with my friend quite a while ago that one day I want to cosplay as all the Doctors… AT THE SAME TIME.

You have created the costume I was going to wear.

    Amazing, I freaking love it.

  74. Darchangel

This is quite possibly the greatest thing ever created.
I love all the quotes, but 9’s stands out to me as my favorite DW quote so far, even though 4 is “my Doctor”. It was just so powerful to see such joy in 10, who bears the guilt of wiping out the Daleks, and seeing his own people wiped out.

  75. Lily Knotwise

    Rich:

So sorry for the double post, but if you wanted to incorporate a bit of Five, why didn’t you give him cricket shoes? Unless those are Eight’s shoes? But it looks like Eight quite a lot already…

Also, I’m unsure about this, is Seven’s incorporation in the vest? The question marks are there, but other Doctor’s have had question marks… Anyway, I was just wondering.

Even though some things are a little unsure, know that I think your all-10-Doctors Doctor is really awesome. And someone needs to make this costume. XD

  76. Lewis

    Best page of the comic?

    Yep!

    :D

  77. Mreen

lol – Great page, but I was cracking up at your comment below. I was just saying elsewhere – if this did ever come out in book format, the written summations deserve to be included somewhere in there :D

  78. Darchangel

The trainers (sneakers) would work for both 5 and 10.
also, *please* tell me that there will be a large-sized color version of that last panel?

  79. CG

I dont know what to say.

    This is mindblowingly good :D

  80. carol

Wow! Now THAT is one cool looking Doctor! :)

  81. The1Russter

What can I say that everyone else hasn’t already said? Excellent job Rich. The quotes look perfect to me, the symbols for each of the Doctor’s is good. And, the amalgamated Doctor is perfect. The only suggestion I would make is give him the striped trousers of 5’s Doctor to give an indication of his presence, but its is excellent as it is. Great Job!

  82. Mat Greenfield

    Now THAT is fanboy porn!

  83. K9

Out of all the pages that was the best!! :-)

  84. Esprix

This is absolutely amazing! SO WELL DONE!

And someone actually did a computer morph of all 10 faces into one – see it here:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_BEFOe57kEY

  85. Eala Dubh

    Those quote sources in full:

1: The Dalek Invasion Of Earth, episode 6 (and see #5)
2: The War Games, episode 10
    3: “Who Is The Doctor”*
    4: Meglos, episode 1
    5: The Five Doctors
6: The Twin Dilemma, episode 4
    7: Dragonfire, episode 3
    8: Oh go on, GUESS.
    9: The Doctor Dances
    10: The Christmas Invasion

*A filk record narrated (not actually sung) by Jon Pertwee to the backing of a glam-rock version of the Doctor Who theme. Released around 1973, didn’t chart; depending on taste, either utterly sublime or the second-tackiest iteration of the title music ever after Paddy Kingsland’s ‘Delaware’ version.

  86. Makkabee

That last panel is just iconic.

    Brilliant.

  87. Coolreb

Wow this page is made of awesome! I’m so sad that it’s starting to come to an end but I’m really excited! All the quotes were perfect!

  88. Erin

    …COOL.

  89. who am I?

Why do I see in my minds eye the Dalek pulling a monty python?”RUN AWAY!!!!!”

  90. Who

Best page ever…..You should totally make a wallpaper out of atleast the first ten panels of that.

  91. KLCthe BookWorm

First off, I was speechless by the sheer awesomeness of this page.

Second, when my brain returned to logic mode, I WANT this page. I want it inked and colored and available in poster-size for framing. Will even pay for it, so what are the odds it can happen? I also want the Christmas shout-out page with all the companions too.

I’m not trying to take away from the production of pages or a real book version (knocking on wood for that), but are posters even a remote possibility?

  92. Nieves

    Wonderful! I liked it!
Besides, if Rich ever wants to redo this page in colour, he can always retouch the satsuma, the scarf, and some 5’s stuff later (celery? specs?). No need to do everything the first time it’s ever published…

  93. DJ

Wonderful! I am torn between this page and the previous one as being my favorite one! Ahhghh! I don’t have to choose do I? They can both be my #1 Favorite Page!? Anyway, ditto to what people have said, the quotes, the objects representing the Drs, etc. And remember, you can always make any tiny additions (for example, to the costume in the last panel) later. I think people had some good suggestions. After all, you’re only one person doing this so you can’t think of everything. And if George Lucas can add stuff to his movies later, then you certainly have the right to polish a few things later!
As to an idea not sounding as great in a few words on paper, that’s a very common thing to happen. As as writer myself, yes, words are powerful, and can have a very emotional impact. But words are sometimes not the best way of describing something, especially something very visual. You can use three dozen great words to describe a stunning sunset and it will still won’t have the same effect as a 20 second look at the sunset itself. So don’t be too hard on yourself. One minute pause here, I’m going to reread your written summary for this page. “The 10 Drs merge…experiencing…memories…past and future…combined into one mighty Doctor… ” Hmm. That might be the phrase that’s a little awkward. Just note it for future review. But we love the idea! And actually have been contemplating it for several days now. (As compared to what–several weeks? Months? For you?) Anyway, a very dramatic highpoint is obviously coming-being prepared for? I feel the ghost of the Watcher over my shoulder as I write this-shudder–that old phrase–like someone walking over my grave? Could this be leading to the regeneration of Dr Eight into Nine? (After the saving of Ten.) Which was never “officially” shown by the BBC. Oooh. I kinda like that idea. YES! Do it, Rich! If that’s your plan, of course. If not here (in this particular Dr Who comic), then a future one?! Just a suggestion.
    Eagerly awaiting the next page!

  94. Brandi

It might’ve looked interesting to make the Composite Doctor’s hair long and dark but *curly*, to reflect 4 and 6.

Or it might’ve just left people wondering why you gave him Weird Al Yankovic hair.

  95. dalektaliban

    rofl

  96. Psyduck Ranger

I’m not sure the Sonic Screwdriver is the best object to represent the 9th Doctor. Sure, he brought it back, but it was used by a fair number of other Doctors. The Psychic Paper might have been better since, although 10 uses it, it was first used by 9.

Or perhaps even the banana from The Empty Child? I mean, most of the objects seem to be recurring, but of course, 10s apple was only on screen for a few seconds and only appeared as a joke and a set-up. I’m sure you meant the satsuma, but still…

And, please forgive me, but I do have a criticism (besides, all writers have to face some sort of criticism, often regularly, so you won’t go far if you couldn’t take it); this is starting to seem a bit silly. It’s starting to seem like low quality fanfiction, where the writer simply decides to include all manor of silly details…I dunno…

  97. Ladyfox7oaks

This… This is BRILLIANT, and Magnificent. The cane and the promise, the pennywhistle, BETSY!, Jelly Babies, And Fivey’s line… Oh.. Oh yes- Doubly so. The SHOOOOES! For 8, the Shoes!
And the sheer joy of “Everybody lives!” , and the steel determination of “no second chances”…
I just… Despite all this rambling, I feel speechless. It’s like coming across that one box of old and cherished memories… and only being able to say a word or two while your mind is actually running a million miles a second, going over those old memories with a soft touch to dust them off and refresh them.
This is Beautiful Rich, … and I have to go find a tissue now.
Dalek- you don’t stand a chance.

  98. Ammy

Wow – just plain wow. I can’t wait to see the next page. One Doctor alone is pretty powerful, so the I can’t imagine the power of Doctor^10… this is one of the reasons they’re not allowed to cross time lines!

  99. Ladyfox7oaks

@Eala Dubh … So- You’re saying that Pertwee was actually doing early white-boy RAP?!?!? O_O

  100. John Williams

This is not going to be popular here but… that was awful.

  101. Maki P

No Comments this time, merging and stuff is too weird for me; I’ll just check out tomorrow for uberdoctor to kick Dalek butt (or whaterever). Before I go, the ÜberDoctor look is very……. interesting

  102. Aaron

What’s going to happen next?? :S Lets hope the Dalek doesn’t EXTERMINATE the Uber-Doc. But that would be a way to lead the 8th Doctor into his regenertaion. to 9 As it is set in the 8th Doctor’s run…..

And i want this page in colour. As a poster…. Imagine how eye watering his costume is going to be… The Doctor’s have had some strange colours to wear! :)

  103. Trevory

    Whoah… I didn’t see that coming!

  104. Kori

    SUPERMEGAULTRA DOCTOR!

Brilliant, simply Brilliant! Love this amalgamation sequence. As all have said, those quotes were perfect for each of the Doctors- I could “hear” each one in my head. And the symbols! From the Jelly Babies and Betsy to the Sonic Screwdriver. I’m just bubbling over with nostalgia. ^^

  105. Chrononaut

Oh wow. That is very nice. Good job summarizing all the Doctors in so few lines!

(I am the Doctor, whether you like it or not. Hee hee. :) )

  106. WalksInEternity

Kori: Erm, *cough* Bessie, not Betsy ;)

  107. FresnoTimeLord

From far beyond the stars…10 men will link to form…

    “MEGA DOCTOR”

  108. mrfranklin

@John Williams: Everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion, and yours is as valid as everyone else’s. That’s the great thing about art – it speaks to different people differently, and no everyone likes the same things. Notice how even we who squee (hmmm… I like that… We Who Squee :D ) have our own suggestions for how to make Rich’s vision “better” – that is, more like our own. If this isn’t what you were expecting, and the one object/one quote thing isn’t your style, then sure – you might not like it. Dissenting voices are important; I, for one, thank you for adding yours, because it made me stop and think for a moment about _why_ you might not have liked it.
That being said, I’m staying firmly in the camp of We Who Squee.

  109. McGann's the Mann

one thing has been nagging me a little
wasn’t a unified doctorexactly what dalek tor want?
as awesome as this is its a pretty dangerous move all or nothing litterally, after all the dalek conditionings still has the complete (or near complete) memories of his oppenents (remember 10’s mind is in there)
and of course Dalek Tor has the cold un diviating intent of a Dalek while with 10 very different minds in there super doc is perhaps not as strong as he seems so I look forward to the up coming fight its should be pretty close.

  110. Mitchell Craig

    Wow.

  111. Randy

Oh, man… the Quantum!Doctor is AWESOMESAUCE! You can see all of them in there. (One’s nose and pose, Two’s pants, Six’s tie, Seven’s vest, Eight’s hair, Nine’s eyes, Ten’s sideburns… can’t see Three or Four, though I suspect the coat is actually a blend of Three, Five (in the pockets) and Eight.)

  112. IHatePears

Rich I have to know, Does he have 10’s mole?

  113. Ruby

Thank you so much for using a quote from the TVM that people DON’T overuse.

Also, holy carp. How long did it take to create that psychotic Doctor-fusion? O_O It’s pretty expletive-ing incredible.

  114. DoctorParadox

Sweet it looks like all of them really I mean its really like them all, sweet combination Rich! I will so do a gaia version of him and the doctor 2.5!

  115. You_will_obay_me

Did you design him (He needs a name) as you went along?

  116. WalksInEternity

You_will_obay_me: There’s always the title from that book of uncompleted Doctor Who productions; “The Nth Doctor”. It has a nice ring to it, I thought

  117. Erynn

How much of a geek does it make me that this one gave me chills and the hair on the back of my neck rose?

  118. Complete blank

Huh? Skipping the awesomeness of the art (or otherwise) I have to ask, what happened? One minute the dalek is more or less holding 10 prisoner and the others are trying to free him. Then the others merge – and 10 is apparently free to merge with them to face off the dalek. I thought we were going to see the first 9 merge, THEN rescue 10, THEN face off the dalek.

  119. James Swann

for anyone who hasn’t seen… on the UBER DOC… he has strange patterns on his coat that look like celery… SQUEEE…. ME NERD!!!

  120. dragon-64

    Kyaaaaaa!
(I was just expecting a sort of Watcher thing, but you went there!!)
I know, it’s always hard to explain these things. Whenever I try to explain the plot of a Doctor Who episode, or this comic I usually end with “…… It makes sense in the show/book/comic!” There’s just so much complex context. But Doctor Who is sort of a ridiculous show. :)

  121. Sashenka

Interesting quote for 9 – after the recent positively murderous attitude, that’s what is in his mind – very Eccleston’s Doctor.
Surely a banana could have represented him better (the same pacifistic message as with the quote)? The screwdriver could have been left for Ten, who had many gizmos.

  122. Catelly

I’m sure that at one stage in the Christmas Invasion Special #10 pulls out an apple….Brillant work and well drawn….T’anks Rich….I like to take my time getting here and reading so I had from when K-9 let everyone out…..good way to spend a weekend morning and I’m sooooo glad you wrote “nappies”…..that’s what we say in Australia and “diapers” is sooooo not right….but that’s just me personally.

  123. Bloodnok

Gentlemen, Behold! We have become one!

  124. UnbekanntesPferd

    Two words: Epic. Win!
Sorry, going to squee in that corner over there…

  125. Gallifrey

    Wow!
    Made of awesome!

I have just watched Human Nature and 10 eats an apple – so apples are cool, and far more healthy than a jelly baby!

  126. Sindre1

    Fantawsome!

  127. Captain Shade

    Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!!

  128. Sindre1

Captain Shade: You beat me :P

  129. Jon

Rich, maybe it sounds kinda stupid to you written down, but I literally felt chills looking at it! Bravo!

  130. meowbooks

I love the quotes and Betwixt and Between Doctor…

  131. gecks

Marvelous job on the combination, sorry you couldn’t fit absolutly all of the doctors characteristics in there, but still a great excitement to fans and geeks alike :)
perhaps if he had his hands in his pockets, you could have included the celery and maybe colins cat pin, something like that, still i was flipping out greatly and the whole combined doctor look for hours :)

  132. thrillex

just wondering, why does he have sideburns? i thought 10 was the sideburns guy

  133. Antonius

    * punches air* Yes! Another great page. The genius keeps-on coming, well done Rich!

  134. You_will_obay_me

I’m guessing this whole experience will leave them all with a bit of memory loss. That way they won’t remember how to succeed in all of the stories in advance…
    Companions need to forget, too.

  135. You_will_obay_me

WalksInEternity: Yeah I like that, Nth Doctor.

  136. Steve

I’ve been lurking for a year now, but I had to comment. This page is Awesome! While I was reading, all I said over and over again was “WOW!”

  137. Cosmo Smith

freaking awesome Rich, u pull it off handsomely.

this is one ineffable Doctor, not just a doctor but THE Doctor, the ultimate you might say

  138. Ursula

Huh… Interesting that the Mega-Doctor should end up looking most like 8. (It’s the hair, I guess.)

I found this page, with its artful invocation of all the Doctors, weirdly moving. I remain very, very impressed by this strip. Early on I found some of the drawing a bit rushed, but either you’ve gotten better or your style has grown on me in a big way, because now it looks as good as it reads to me. Bravo, sir.

  139. Oddfellow

I want to cosplay as this Doctor. I swear.

  140. Koki

WOWWW! *Stares at the page* That is good. Really good. Really really really good…
    - and did i happen to mention good? XD
Epic page with all the doctors – and it must be really hard to sum up each doctors journey in one phrase and image, so well done!
*In true Ninth Doctor style* – FANTASTIC! :D :D

  141. phantomfighter

omg i can see 10’s sideburns, 9’s nose, 8’s hair, 2’s stripey pants
    :D AWSOME!!!

  142. Hark

    Wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey! :D

  143. ShinyTeapot

I like the quotes, particularly for 9 and 10- 9 has a very happy, positive quote, despite being portrayed throughout (here and in the series) as the comparatively moody, tough, postwar doctor. Whereas hyperactive, overenthusiastic 10 has a very harsh quote. It’s a nice contrast and shows that both of them, and hence the personality of the Doctor overall, are far more complex than they first appear.

The combined Doctor looks great, and does capture an essence of pretty well all the incarnations. He’s very imposing. Personally I’d love to see him with the addition of 7’s hat, 4’s scarf and 10’s trainers and water pistol, but that would have made for a rather daft combi-Doctor, which wouldn’t really work in such a dramatic scene.

  144. JustAWanderer

Excellent choice of lines for each Doctor.
Especially Six’s “I am the Doctor, whether you like it or not.” Because let’s face it — a lot of fans didn’t.
I’ll add my voice to the chorus of praise for the Uber-Doctor.

  145. Rich

Thank you all for the great response! I’m so glad you all (most!) enjoyed this twist. This is one of the plot points I had been envisioning from fairly early on and it’s nice to finally have gotten to it.

The Pertwee “song” I quoted is “I am the Doctor” I thought.
“I cross the void beyond the mind.
The empty space that circles time.
I see where others stumble blind.
    I am the Doctor.”
I didn’t add that last bit on just because it was too much like the 6th Doctor quote. It was important to use THAT one because it’s Colin Baker’s Who battlecry. It was a tossup between that and the “Nevermore a butterly” speech from “The Two Doctors”

Argh. That damned satsuma. My memory failed me. Sorry gang.

I think the ONLY reason the 8th Doctor appears to be ‘dominant’ in the final form is because I gave him the long dark wavy hair. It’s supposed to be what I imagine the original Doctor’s hair to look like when he was much younger on Gallifrey, which, of course, is what I always thought Paul McGann’s wig was supposed to represent anyway. The face is meant to be a caricature of William Hartnell.
Yeah, no scarf. I didn’t put it on because I knew it would overpower the costume the same way the “8th Doctor hair” is dominating the overall physical appearance.

    I’ve never watched powerrangers. *shrug*

    Vroom Socko:
The 8th Doctor quote is from a point where Grace is trying to help him remember who he is and where he’s from. He starts to remember fragments of his home and shouts out:
    “YES YES YES!”
    “What is it?”
“These shoes, they fit perfectly!” and he runs off in them.

Most of the quotes are taken from out of the time frame of the Doctor they represent. I figure they’ve merged memories so the 1st Doctor’s quote is being remembered by the 2nd and he’s hearing it for the first time, and so on.

    mrfranklin:
re: The ‘earth move beneath my feet’ quote.
I wanted to! I SO wanted to… but I couldn’t remember it at the time. And this one stuck in my head and struck a cord when I was watching it for the first time.

    KLCtheBookWorm:
I do commissions, but I charge. See my DA site.

    Psyduck Ranger:
I used the sonic screwdriver for the 9th Doctor because he used it a lot more than any previous Doctor or the 10th. He made it HIS prop, even if the 2nd Doctor was the inventor. The psychic paper also isn’t very interesting artistically. It’s a blank rectangle in a folder.
Oh, and re: your criticism… hahaahh, nicely put! But I’ve never had any pretense of this being anything other than low grade fanboy porn. The whole thing is a silly little love letter to a show I’ve been watching since I was 6. I defy you to find a point in the comic that isn’t an excuse to include all manner of silly details. Thanks for the criticism, though. Keep letting me know when you think I’ve let you down. It probably won’t change anythng with THIS particular project, but I’ll definately keep it in mind for future comics.

    John Williams:
More awful then the rest of it? This page, plotpoint, or the whole damn thing? Please give me more details!

    Randy:
We’re voting for QuantumDoctor as the ‘name’ for this incarnation. Though, up until then, I was call it “The 10 Doctors”.

    IHatePears:
I’ll let you look for it.

    Ruby:
How long? Uhhhh… *shrug* It took some serious thought and I didn’t get it right on the first go. There’ve been a few variations (I don’t know if I’ve got any evidence of the others to show you) but that’s the one I liked.

    You_will_obey_me:
As I said, I had a couple of stabs at it. This is probably the 3rd, actually. I doodled them on another page until I found a basic outline for him and then I filled in the details as I went.

    thrillex (and others)
re: Why is the 10th Doctor in the QuantumDoctor as well?
The 10th Doctor is currently conflicted between his original mental state and the Dalek conditioning. Dalek Tor is part 10th Doctor and part Dalek. So when the Doctors pulled all their wills together, part of him was dragged in. The part of him that was represented by the 10th Doctor in the previous page. The part that is resisting is the part represented by the Dalek. Now they’re all joined together against that Dalek conditioning part of his brain.
And yes… this is what Dalek Tor was hoping to get control off in the beginning. He had technology that would have made it impossible for them to resist before, so now it’s Dalek conditioned will vs. the wills of 10 (9.5?) Doctors combined.

    Ursula:
My art style has changed in regards to this comic. In fact early on I couldn’t decide on a style and as it went on, and I got more and more serious about it, the drawing style got more and more serious. It’s most noticeable in the 4th and 9th Doctors and Mel.

For the record, here’s my intended inclusions for the QuantumDoctor:

1st Doctor – Young face & basic hair style.
2nd Doctor – Baggy checked pants.
3rd Doctor – Fancy buttons on the frock coat.
    4th Doctor – Elbow patches.
5th Doctor – Coat pocket piping and question marks on his button down shirt collar.
    6th Doctor – Pokadot kerchief
7th Doctor – Question marks on the waistcoat.
8th Doctor – Dark wavy hair and overal dress sense (which also harkens back to the 1st Doctor) and shoes.
9th Doctor – Nose and black coat.
10th Doctor – Sideburns and extended eyebrows.

  146. Chuckunit

    “The Composite Doctor”

……not a bad title for an episode, come to think of it.

  147. Xenoblatta

Rich, I think you’ve done a fabulous job with this on-line Doctor Who comic! It’s become a delightful little part of my daily routine. I think that you capture the essence of each Doctor very well. Their interactions with each other are well thought out and usually believable. I am grateful that you spend time portraying the ‘lesser’ well-known Doctors today (1, 2, 6, 8) and you do not focus on the more popular Doctors today (3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10). As one of your new fans, I offer this one piece of constructive criticism…I think that your companions are handled better than most during cross-over stories, but you sometimes fall into the trap of huddling them all together in a quiet, uninvolved mass during a crisis. I don’t think that this is as believable. As a rule, each companion has faced life and death situations with their Doctor(s) many times, so I think that (with few exceptions) they all would be much more interactive with the Doctors and each other during an actual crisis. For example, I don’t think most companions would have run away from danger after K-9 freed them from the Dalek holding cell. Rather, I see all of them turning around to help the Doctor (not just a few select ‘action’ companions like the Brigadier, Ace, Jamie, Jack, Romana, and Leela). Sarah Jane, Zoe, Tegan, Jo, Rose,…even Peri, Turlough, and Mel would have turned around too. Your companions are handled better than most in cross-over stories, but I wanted to give you some constructive feedback too. I understand that there are many literary reasons for handling companions as a larger mass…dealing with so many characters and holding the attention of your audience is tricky. Again, I think you do a fabulous job! I can’t wait to see tommorrow’s comic! Best Regards, Xenoblatta

  148. Xenoblatta

Hi Rich, I almost forgot…if you mix Doctors 1-10 together into a single mass, should you get…Matt Smith?! I was hoping to see him somewhere in the comic…even if it was a little inside joke for now since we don’t really know his character yet. Thanks again for your excellent work! Best Regards, Xenoblatta

  149. Hilary
  150. Sean

Now that I look at it, you should’ve given him 10’s glasses. Or at least have made the glasses what represented 10.

  151. DrkFire666

Holy amalgamations Batman!!! Gestalt Doctor!!! Rich, this is fecking brilliant stuff!

  152. Drdunno

    and…

  153. 10 of Me Now

That last panel is excellent, or should I say “Fantastic”? You’ve captured the essence of all the Doctors (but he looks a lot like #8).

Will we ever get to see Romana 1? She seems to be the only one missing, unless you count K’Anpo /Cho Je ;)

  154. Doctor Who lover!!!!!

The doctor in the last panel with the Dalek looks like every doctor put together. If you look at the Doctor’s face it looks like nines face and he’s got sideburns, the tenth doctor’s, and he’s wearing two’s pants and he has eight’s hair do. Sick! Thats soo cool Rich. I can’t wait for more. Rich I just want to tell you something and I bet other people here would and most likely already have said this but you just blow my mind, I mean it. The art work is just so amazing and graphic like a cartoon but thats your style of drawing. Just amazing Rich.

  155. DoctorParadox

I remember watching an interveiw on the eighth doctor they told me that this doctor would be the culmanation of all the doctors and I thought that was interesting.

  156. EricInWisconsin

DoctorParadox, I remember them saying that about every doctor since 4. That’s always said when a Doctor starts.

  157. Kimberly

    Rich, it’s perfect. Wouldn’t change a thing. It’s the Uber-Doctor! Sigh, I think I’m in love!

Hmmm, I may have to take some time out this weekend and break out the ol’ photoshop so I can have a go at colorizing it! (Unless of course, somebody beats me to it!)

  158. Spooks

There’s nothing visible of the 5th Doctor, sadly.
Well, it sort of looks like 5’s pockets… at least that’s what I convinced myself they were xD

  159. Anita

I have no idea what to say, Rich. Amazing.

  160. Soreye

This is the best thing since pie.

Amazing, Made Of Awesome, Brilliant, Fantastic!
    I LOVE IT!
I’m dying to see this in color, so I took my very first attempt at coloring something on photoshop…I am so embarassed by the result I’m thinking about burning it. Must go look up “coloring tutorial” on google.
    :)

  161. D'Otter

BESSIE! Pertwee’s old flivver; I’d nearly forgotten it! Rich, you’re a genius _and_ a scholar! (Bessie might’ve been useful in “The Poison Sky”!)

  162. Ch1ps

This is the most awesome page i’ve ever seen! :-D All the ten Doctors in one! (this is all in their minds…right…?)

A little bit of everyone to face off against the Dalek!

  163. Serosis

you could have put a stick of celery on him just for the sake of 5 and throw some brainy specs on too.

I do see the ‘hartnell’ in “him” very well, the way he holds his jacket, the stern look on his face and the stance.

Love this comic so much, I just started watching Who from the very beginning quite awhile ago, can’t remember, but I think I made a comment about the 1st Doctor when this comic started out, and thats about when i started watching.

Anyways, to the point, this comic gives me such anticipation for the “future” Doctors I’ll be watching, I’m on Pertwee at the moment and have been loving every minute of it. Can’t wait to see what unfolds.

  164. Mitchell Craig

I look at this page again and it never ceases to astound me. This is the sort of thing that only comics can do well – you could do it as a prose story, but it would read as astoundingly idiotic. A filmed version of this would lose something in the translation.

This is why I fell in love with this medium.

And I’m gearing up to do a strip of my own – all I need to do is work out the niggling little details (like how to post it on the web).

Hilary: I recently changed my avatar, but for some reason, the current one is still showing up. Discuss.

  165. Hybrid

    SQEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

  166. Psyduck Ranger

Surely a good inclusion for the Fifth Doctor would be his “decorative vegetable”, as 10 put it. In fact you still can include that, his hand is hiding where it would be…

  167. Catelly

“Today….Everbody Lives!!!” is one of my fave lines that had me in tears…..perfect words for 9 =)

  168. Catelly

I suppose “I’m not just a TimeLord….I’m the last of the Timelords….” is another line but we haven’t gone beyond the Invasion have we, Rich?

and sorry….forgot “Just this once” *blush*

  169. gazzatrek

love the quotes & the doc’s ‘elements’,’shame about the satsuma but we knew what you meant!!! The ‘patchwork’ über doc isn’t what I expected (I’d figured something along the lines of the watcher,or maybe each sentence being spoken by a different doc as the different aspects of him assert themseleves) but nice mix of the 10 docs,’though I do miss the scarf!!!

  170. Nikki

    My initial reaction is: Whoa.

I would love to see a colorized version of composite Doctor.

The quotes reminded me of a text icon post I made in my icon journal on LJ. I used 3 of the same quotes you did in my post (1st, 5th and 7th).

It’s really noble of you to take all the nitpickers and critics’ opinions in stride.

  171. You_Will_Obey_Me

    @Catelly:
Actually that could have worked, because there quotes are supposed to represent their characters, and the fact that 9/10 have lived through a brutal war and seen their entire race wiped out leaving them alone is quite a big part of their characters…
    Just a thought.

  172. Hilary

IHatePears: As per my last comment on page 201, you get one post per page. I’m putting you on moderation until you can control yourself.

Mitchell: Avatars are served up through Gravatar externally; I’ve cleared the wordpress cache, but if that doesn’t correct it, you’ll have to check their help files. The other issue we’ve run into before is that we only accept G-rated avatars for display, and I believe the Gravatar default is unrated, so double-check that, too.

  173. Lisa

    I would so date him.

  174. Timey Wimey

Sorry I’m late in posting, this is possibly my favorite page ever. You can’t go wrong with a page like this and it is entirely awesome :D

  175. WalksInEternity

Hilary: You seem to be having a bad time of late with all the modding and angry people.

Heres a virtual flower to cheer you up (in a not-creepy-stalker kind of way).

Erm. Sorry, the flower got squashed in the post. It did look good, though. Honest…

  177. Captain Chaotica

(By the way, if this posted twice I apologise. One of those usual things with hitting Tab instead of CapsLock and then Enter..)

Ha! This is, as everyone said, brilliant. I’m going to have to put my vote down here as one of the few who _didn’t_ instantly think it looked like Eight wearing the composite outfit–it totally looks more like Hartnell’s features, to me. The hair…if you took One’s long straight hair and mixed it with the curliness that some of the other Doctors had….I dunno…

And the hands on lapels are like the ONLY perfect pose he could’ve had, since practically _every_ single Doctor does that at some point or another. At least, of the ones I’ve seen in action properly. Which at this point would be 1-6, and 9 and 10, for those of you wondering. (Started off at the new series, then backtracked.)

The satsuma doesn’t bother me. Incidentally I think they’re more like a mandarin orange relative? The other day I was eating a clementine, and I decided to go look them and satsumas up on Wikipedia to find out just what they ARE, exactly, botanically speaking… (Peri would approve. ;) )

I don’t really have any specific criticisms…or rather, the ones I do have wouldn’t have worked. Even a smaller scarf would’ve covered up some of the other details on the coat so you couldn’t _see_ them, so THAT’S why that’s out. It just wouldn’t work in a practical sense.
I _do_ kind of think brainy specs would be nice, as at least three Doctors _including Hartnell_ wore glasses at some point or another, but that’s just me. And I agree the psychic paper wouldn’t've have worked, for 9. I mean, it just looks like paper.

Using a quote from “I Am the Doctor” for Three…HA. Yes, I’ve heard that. White-boy rap? (cracks up) Hadn’t really thought of it that way, but…kind of? More like a poetry reading though. It is insanely cheesy, but in a loveable way. I dunno. I have cheesy taste in poetry anyway, and lines like “The empty void that circles time” kind of appeal to me.
Now, Three being my favourite, I’d kind of like to see a line from one of his actual _episodes_, but…I can’t think of any specific ones at the moment. And if _I_ can’t, with Three being my favourite, I can only imagine what trouble RICH would have. Since, I mean, he doesn’t like him all that much.

This is getting ridiculous? Why, yes it is. BUTTTT…(a) this is not happening in the comic’s “real life”. It’s only in the Doctor’s _mind_. And anything can happen in a dream.

More importantly (b), the original SHOW could get this silly! I mean, come on, how about “The Invisible Enemy”, for one, where tiny little clones of Four and Leela go traispsing around inside Four’s BRAIN? Or what about submerging the TARDIS in “Logopolis” to “flush out the Master” and holding the doors back with their arms? I never _did_ get that…
(I’m not specifically targeting Four’s era here, just, those are the first two that popped into my head.)

I mean, come on, PHYSICALLY walking around inside the Doctor’s actual ganglia? (”You are in a maze of twisty little synapses, all alike…”) Compared to that, this is perfectly reasonable. :P

One last comment: For whoever it was who said that the Northern Doctors are better…(sorry, it was like over 200 comments ago!)…I’d like to point out here that _Colin_ Baker was also originally from Manchester. ;)

    Good morning everyone!

    …Notorious

  178. Captain Chaotica

Oh, and (a) Four had sideburns, too..it just wasn’t as noticeable in his time period since it was the ’70s and ALL guys had them and (b) 7 kind of had checked-ish pants, too. So they’re in there, as well.

    Shutting up finally…

    …Notorious

  179. Nat

    Great concept Rich!

I love the use of Who is the Doctor lyrics for Three :)

I’m not surprised that the archetypal Doctor looks like Eight, the McGann Doctor was intended to be a kind of archetype harking back to Hartnell and Pertwee…

I must say I was expecting to see Ten’s brainy specs rather than some fruit though.

  180. Elle

Wow, great job! concedering how hard it would be to combine 10 peopled together, you did a good job!
(well, they are the same person, but you know what I meant..)

  181. who am I?

I hate to be contrary to you Rich but I see you are a bit confused old Chap.I’m sure you don’t mind me clearing things up a bit.Two started the Sonic Screwdriver but three was the one who made it a staple of his episodes(along with a host of other gadgets. He and ten would get along like a house on fire!)to where most autograph photos he carried had him holding it.Four used it alot but hes better remembered for the Jelly Babies.Still all in all I think every actor who played the part would be delighted with your portayal of their characters.

  182. Chryse

Wow, love it. The detail in the last panel is excellent, you’ve done so well on an extremely hard task of trying to merge 10 completely different people into one whilst trying to remain elements of their individuality – that takes someone with a strong grip on their own sanity!

  183. Doctor What?

Rich u mentioned that you couldnt show much of 5 just a thought u cud hav given the Amalgamated Doctor number 5’s brainy specs, the gold ones from Castrovalva…….just a thought
    still brilliant stuff though Rich
i always thought that the very last Doctor would look something like this and that all his other incarnations were just a part of the final Doctor
    Multo Bene!!

  184. Korafrax

When I first started reading this comic I thought “Oh, this will probably end up being a dream or something in a few pages.” That was nearly 200 pages ago. Excellent comic Rich, just excellent.

  185. WalksInEternity

Who Am I: Rich is correct. He said that the sonic screwdriver was first used by Doctor Two (in Fury From The Deep, actually). Three did use it a lot, but Two _did_ use it first, which is what was stated.

  186. Cosmo Smith

just a thought Rich, even if you do find the time to colourise all the pages, you wouldn’t necessarily need to colour in the pages inside the Doctor’s head.

But colourise the Composite Doctor, he’s awesome

  187. Tem

dude. this totally brightened my day. hehe. the sideburns. god i love those things. best part of 10 ever.

  188. Child of Zion

*Stands in awe of all that is Who and Rich*
*Stands in even more awe of all that is Who and Rich combined*
Wow. I did hope that the Doctors, when combined, were a sort of mix-no one Doctor as the Face of the Ten. But this far surpasses anything that I could have hoped for.
If I ever see this man walking (or running) down the street, I will follow, because he is the very essence of the Doctor. If I didn’t know better, Rich, I’d say that YOU are the Doctor and have experienced all this, so close is it to the mark. (Actually, I DON’T know better… -, -, ) If I had known that this comic would become so real to me, I would never have left my computer-I would have just sat here, repeatedly clicking the “Refresh” button.
You know, I think that although EVERYONE is looking forward to the conclusion, the happy ending, whatever…we’re all gonna be sad to see this comic end.
*Wipes eyes, clearing dirt out of them*
And now I find that I have rambled far too long, so I shall go and get my eyes checked. Something about this comic makes them get…wet…a lot.
    *Casts vote with the Doctor*
    *Departs*

  189. Rich

    who am I?
I hate to argue with you, but here’s how it went down.
Patrick Troughton was the first one to use the prop which he called the “sonic screwdriver”.
Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker and to some extent, Peter Davison, used the prop. More and more in fact. Until the writers decided they needed to get rid of the thing because (like K9) the Doctor was relying on it far too much). However, back in those days, the Doctor was using it to manipulate machinery, open locks, and technical things. That’s what made it famous.
When Eccleston started and the series was reborn, RTD not only redesigned the thing, but he blew the sonic screwdriver’s usefulness WAY over the top. The Doctor had it almost constantly and was using it to do medical scans, operate computers, prepare meals, butter popcorn, wipe windows, clean his clothes, perform a soft shoe, etc etc. I exaggerate, but the 9th Doctor used that stupid thing more than any previous Doctor ever.
Fortunately they toned it down considerably by the time David Tennant was settled as the 10th Doctor.

  190. ElementalBob

The battle begins, nice touch with the quotes.

  191. gecks

if it hasn’t been said yet, that dalek is just perspectivly and damn well drawn!

  192. DaPatman

Now that is an epic way to finish an archive binge.

  193. Toby

I haven’t read through all the comments, but someone earlier asked for suggestions on the name of the combined Doctors. I don’t know if that’s been addressed yet, but I immediately thought of “Doctor 10!” – for those of you that don’t know, in mathematics, an ! after a number denotes the factorial of that number (that number multiplied by the number below that, multiplied by the number below that etc… so 10! would be 3628800). Sorry, maths nerd moment…
Also, got to say, brilliant page. Not only have you pulled off merging the Doctors on an aesthetic level (I even see a bit of Two in the way his legs are positioned), you’ve also managed to find an essence that just is the Doctor, no matter what incarnation.

  194. Zukuto

so it sounds a little corny when you write it down, its still a kick ass comic and I love the doctor combo makes me giggle.. are you going to have it done before easter when the 10th doctor regenerates? and 11 steps in?

It the comic wasn’t kick ass I wouldn’t have printed and bound the first 167 pages to read on the way to work….

  195. kittystitcher

Zukuto – He’s got a year before 11 steps in. I’m sure he’ll be well done with it by then, much as I’d hate to see it end. Though he has promised more after he’s done with this one…:D

  196. Paderic

I must say, I thought your whole comic has been utterly brilliant. However, I would like to nitpick on a couple points. One being the fight scenes. I find it hard to tell what’s going on exactly during the fights. The descriptions help, but there still isn’t much detail in the comic itself.

Also, I find the recent couple of comics (this one especially) to be, well…I’m not sure how to say it. The closest I can think of is a bit corny. It has that fan fictiony feel. Granted that’s just what this is, fan fiction. But before it had the feel of a canon piece of Doctor Who. To be truthful, it has me a bit put off and a little disappointed.

However, feat not! I still quite enjoy your comics and will continue to read them, and it is my hope that the next page will prove my doubts unfounded. (And I do like the term Quantum Doctor.) I do wish you luck, Rich, and I think this would be awesome as an animated movie, with a few touch ups, of course.

Keep up your fantastic work, Rich!

  197. Athena

Brilliant page, Rich! I am currently trying to colourise the combined doctors, but it it tking rather a lot of time.
I can understand why there isn’t a lot of five in there since that doctor’s personality wasn’t as dominant as the others.
Great page and keep up the good work!

  198. Ursula

In all the various Doctor Who media, has anybody done a story about a composite Doctor? Because having a guy who is ALL the Doctors at once is kind of an awesome idea, really. Well, so is the whole thing with the Daleks deciding to convert Time Lords… How has that not been done on the actual show already?! As soon as you hear it, it’s like, “Well, of COURSE…”

    Sorry. Gushing again.

  199. Sageeth

With the idea that this combined Doctor looks a lot like 8 that is quite understandable. 8 was basically designed to be a younger 1st, they basically put him in an updated version of 1st’s clothes. So when you have 1st and 8th in there it makes double their looks, if you get what I mean. I really do like what he has ended up looking like. Doesn’t look like any of the Doctor’s particularly really, can see hints of them all (almost) and looks really “Doctorish”.

  200. DoctorParadox

The Composite Doctor is my new wallpaper on my phone and his face is almost like a young william hartnell with long hair. Is that what you were going for?

  201. Asecooper

    Awesome Rich! Congrats from Toronto.

Quantum Doctor sounds cool, but for some reason, “The Nth Doctor” came to mind when I first saw this page.

  202. Acoustic Screwdriver

    Bravo Sir, Bravo.

The Multi-Doc is visually stunning. It tugs at my heart because I really enjoyed the TV movie, and McGann as the Doctor, and feel that he should have done much, much more.

QD does bear a strong resemblance to the 8th incarnation. Beautiful.

As soon as I finish typing this, I’m going to stand up and applaud you.

Thank you for the pleasure your comic has given me.

  203. Joe England

I think Doctor Eight just said “Me come with you? Tempting…”

  204. Rorschach

I have no problem wirth the companions being underused, this is after all The Ten Doctors not The Sixteen Companions : )

If the companions were given their fair share of page time this story would never end, and as much as I am enjoying it I do what a resolution. Every story should have a end.

  205. dalektaliban

no offense but i dont get the significance of the apple

  206. Lewis

Joe England: Nah, I’m sure the quote in the comic is correct.
dalektaliban: Rich, I think, was meant to draw the satsuma (”The Christmas Invasion”).

  207. Lewis

“Fortunately they toned it down considerably by the time David Tennant was settled as the 10th Doctor”… although it’s still a magic wand (see Lazarus Experiment – setting 56 or something silly)

  208. WalksInEternity

Lewis: Don’t forget the ‘grow some more barbed-wire’ setting from The Doctor Dances

  209. Lewis

Eternity: Indeed! I always hoped RTD would do a JNT and destroy it but they won’t because of merchandising and time restraints. It does get annoying though. And he even brought in a pyschic paper, which is cool but equally as annoying. One of my favourite parts of New Who is in “Smith and Jones” where the Sonic is destroyed and there’s a closeup of the Doctor manually locking a door. Simple, but bloody good and a breath of fresh air!

  210. Aaron

Oh what’s occuring? We need an update Rich. You can’t leave us on a cliffhanger this size!! :)

  211. Hilary

We’re going to have to ask you guys to indulge us for a bit, unfortunately. We’re moving in two weeks and half the apartment is in boxes, not to mention the 8 million meetings, phone calls and tasks that come with buying a house. Updates may be a bit slower until life settles down again.

  212. ShinyTeapot

If we consider the screwdriver to be exactly as described, i.e. sonic, it would be fairly useful. Presuming it can do just about anything that involves emitting/detecting acoustic waves (it is advanced technology after all), it’s not too much of a stretch to assume it could vibrate something into/out of place (turning screws, opening locks) or damage or destroy something by vibrating it at it’s resonant frequency. Ultrasound can be used for medical scans, to detect flaws in materials and even to clean things by vibrating the dirt away. It could function as a sonar, or emit a noise that would attract/repel certain animals/aliens/monsters, or indeed to deafen people. With all of these possibilities, plus the obvious usefulness of the blue light (presumably this is akin to the ‘I’m working’ LED we see on so many gadgets) as a torch (actually, this is probably the most useful thing!), I don’t see why any extra functionality needs adding to it. Anything based on one of these items I could believe, and that’s quite enough. So it annoys me no end when I see it doing something I can’t explain away by one of the methods mentioned.

Personally, of course, I would only use it when actually needed, since presumably it has some sort of battery that you wouldn’t want to drain unless you have to. So manually lock the door every time, unless you don’t have the key.

I don’t mind the psychic paper. It’s just an extension of the idea that if you walk up to a place confidently, go straight past security while waving something that looks vaguely like ID/authorisation, you can get into most places. It would work just as well with a library card- which might actually be more impressive. I suppose the psychic paper just gives you the backup of, should they check up close, they really will see what they expect.

Btw, seeing the Dalek from that perspective (and it looks to me like it’s perfectly drawn, too) makes it look oddly cute. The whisk and plunger of courseappear shorter, as does the front protrusion of the skirt, and the lights remind me of teddy bear ears. I’ve never seen that before!

  213. XBen

I read one fan theory on a website that the only explanation for the sonic screwdriver’s wide range of uses during 9 & 10’s eras is that it was actually functioning as a conduit to the Doctor’s psionic abilities – that it was a device he needed to bring them into focus. I thought that was a pretty good explanation, although I suspect that there may be references on the show that contradict this.

  214. carol

dalektaliban, I think Rich meant to draw a satsuma(methinks that’s how it’s spelt)or forgot which fruit was in The Christmas Invasion. :)

  215. Kirrithian

About the apple/satsuma debate, even though it was the satsuma that went with that particular quote, he did have an apple in that same dressing gown earlier, so it doesn’t really matter.

Oh, am loving the doctor combo by the way. Keep up the good work!

  216. A Long Time Reader

“But which is better? Apple or Satsuma? There’s only one way to find out… FIGHT!”

(paraphrasing Harry Hill’s TV Burp. In no way endorsing violence between types of fruit)

  217. FishoftheTARDIS

    @ A Long Time Reader.
I so love Harry Hill’s TV burp, are you a fan too or just quoting it, im just intrested as i like it when i find some one that likes something else that i like, especially on the Interwebs

  218. A Long Time Reader

Fish: It’s ok in small doses. It can get a bit too surreal, like when HH was riding Vera Duckworth’s coffin down the motorway…

  219. Joe England

Lewis: Afraid not – I just went back and checked. No big deal either way, of course, it could just as easily be something he said at some other point in his life. Maybe he was being pleasantly ironic at the time. Or maybe he’d forgotten the last time someone asked him, in most of his incarnations he always had terrible memory problems. That could be a reference to a clever story we never saw.
By the way, have I mentioned lately how much of an accomplishment this comic is? Really, Rich, as fanwork goes you’ve made quite an achievement. And it’s not even finished yet!

  220. Korafrax

9 did use the sonic screwdriver a lot but if I had a super advanced piece of alien technology I would too. It is a bit of a cop out for getting in and out of situations on the writers part but it lets there be more action time and less sneaking into the high security facility time. I personally love the sonic and the alieness of it. Jack pointed that out in the doctor dances with the whole “Who looks at a screwdriver and thinks could this be a little more sonic?”

  221. Lily Knotwise

Ah, you’re moving out, but the computers are still up and running I see. :D Thanks for letting us know and take your time.

  222. Lawrie

This is so very Doctor Who. Yes, it’s cheesy, but it’s still awesome. I find that much of Doctor Who is like that–cheesy-awesome. Chawsome, you might say. And this strip fits comfortably right into that long-running tradition of cheesy-awesomeness.

  223. Lewis

Joe: I do believe Eight said both phrases then and, exact quote or mixed, it fits brilliantly (oh, see what I did there?).

Korafrax: There’s a line between alien technology and Harry Potter’s magic wand.

  224. Sindre1

Seems like the Dalek has the sun (or whatever gives ligth in there) in its eye.
    Hope it gets blinded :)

  225. Doctor Who lover!!!!!

    yay!

  226. Cyke101

I suppose it makes sense for the Composite Doctor to look a bit like 8… I would argue that 8 was the original Composite Doctor in the first place, a true sum of the previous 7.

  227. DoctorParadox

I agree with you cyke101 about that. Course his face looks similar to like a young 1 though I’m not sure.

  228. Moggs

    Oooooooooooh, wow!
And to quote my 2 year old niece: What’s next?:D
    It’s just… wow!

  229. Warszawa

In two days time, it will be the second anniversary of the beginning of this comic, it’s been a great ride Rich!

  230. Mitchell Craig

The 10 Doctors might be, as you put it, “fanboy porn”, but by the Holy Hand Grenade of Rassilon, it’s well-done fanboy porn!
And for this once, I can understand why you haven’t posted any new pages in the past couple of days. The Quantum Doctor vs. the Dalek is the battle you don’t want to just jump into – let us marinate in the awe and wonder which reaches from the inner mind to…THE OUTER LIMITS!

    (Oops, wrong show.)

Seriously, this is the set up for what promises to be quite the climax.

  231. Countess

Rich, you sure know how to end an “episode”. Always leave ‘em wanting more!

Good luck with the move. I know how stressful it can be.

  232. Countess

Sorry for the double post, but I looked exactly like my avatar when I bought my house :)

  233. Mr Scirev

    Happy anniversary rich!

  234. Mitchell Craig

Hilary, I know what moving’s like (especially since I’ve done it quite a few times in the past few years), so I’m completely empathetic. Hope you, Rich, and Jenny have a good one without too many complications.

  235. WalksInEternity

Rich & Hilary: I’m sorry, but I’ve just got to say this; I hope your new house is bigger on the inside…

    (groan)

  236. TakingtheMike

By all intents, the fruit should be a banana. Makes up for all those sonic weapon factories. (Empty Child)

  237. carol

I did remember the apple after I posted. I think apple was used because 10 loved his fruit! :)

  238. Tom

Despite what others have said, I don’t think the “One Doctor” looks like Eight, he looks kinda like what I imagine One looked like when he was many centuries younger.

  239. Tezzle

By your powers combined, I AM DOCTOR PLANET!

  240. Anita

@walks in eternity: gotta ask about the gravatar. Is that a Dalek doing the disco?

    :D

    a.

  241. britgeekgrrl

I lost track for a few weeks and just caught up. This is AWESOME! Thanks so much for all of this!

Ps – members of the Doctor Who cosplay community on LiveJournal are already discussing how to re-create the “All Doctors” costume… ;)

  242. Jonn Wolfe

Brilliant, Marvelous, Fantastic… There aren’t enough adjectives for how wonderful this is. ^_^

  243. WalksInEternity

Anita: If you go through Rich’s Amazon link, above, for your region, look for ‘Doctor Who Time Squad’. That’s where I got the image from. Very cute!

  244. Leafa

I just had a though as to what the most anticlimactic ending at this point could possibly be: in the next page Ten wakes up in the Eye of Orion and says, “Gosh, what a strange dream,” gets back in his TARDIS and flies off.THE END.

Every single page at the moment is just incredible! I’ve not posted any comments for a while because I knew I wouldn’t be able to praise them enough and that other people had got that sorted! I have to abmit I was a little taken aback by Quantam Doctor, a mish-mash like that could turn out being quite funny and take away from the drama, but actually I think it looks pretty good. Probably because the hints to all the doctors are subtle.

  245. Mark

Hilary, good luck with the move! I don’t know if this is your first home-buying experience, but I found it fascinating.

One hint: at least in the US, they will ask you to sign a paper, which in one box says “total amount you will pay over the life of this mortgage.’ DO NOT LOOK AT THAT NUMBER!!!!! It has been known to cause severe psychological trauma! :)

  246. nightfly

Almost a year in our house, Rich/Hilary – good luck! We’ll see you when we see you; it’s a great resting point in the story.

  247. Sandman

Speaking of the 3rd Doctor, I always wondered if maybe the Doctor lived in this carnation for several hundred years because the 2nd Doctor said he was 450 years old while the 4th told Sarah Jane that he was in his 700’s, I think, and this was when he just recently regenerated.

I’m wondering if maybe during the time he was sent on missions by the time lords who controled his Tardis, when he was a “galactic yo-yo”, there was one where Jo couldn’t come with because of having a life span of a human where the 3rd Doctor went off alone in the Tardis when he was in his 400’s while returning a couple of days later in his 700’s.

  248. Lewis

I totally agree with people above. What a fantastic “resting place” this has landed on! I dunno how this could get any better – embedded dramatic music on the webpage maybe? Haha, don’t get any ideas Rich/Hilary!

    Hope the move goes well.

  249. EricInWisconsin

On the Doctor’s age: I was watching the Pertwee story “The Mind of Evil” over the weekend, and the Doctor said that he was a scientist and had been for thousands of… and stopped there. Interesting.

On the move: I swear, Rich, if you and Hilary would stop involving yourselves in this “real world” you keep mentioning, you could concentrate solely on The 10 Doctors and let all this “new house” and “bills” and “personal life” stuff go. It would certainly make MY life sweeter, and as we all know, that’s what it’s all about. :D

Seriously guys, do what’s important. We’re all big fans here, so we’ll still be here when the smoke clears. Congrats on the house!

  250. Eocene4ever

“I did remember the apple after I posted. I think apple was used because 10 loved his fruit! :)

Oi! That’s no way to talk about Jack, Carol! :) )

  251. asbalih

shouldnt the 10th Doc item be an orange not an apple?

  252. Sandman

Actually, Eocene4ever, the fruit came from the robe that the 10th Doctor was wearing, while recovering from his regeneration, which was from that guy who with a group was doing research on him which an alien who was absorbing them one at a time was taking advantage of to find the Doctor.

It was when he was having somewhat of a relationship with Rose’s mom which ended when she found out he was there because of her daughter’s relationship with the Doctor and unintentionally left his robe that had fruit in it because he liked to snack.

  253. You_Will_Obey_Me

Ah wtf?! I hate when that happens. D:
    Delete, please?

  254. M'reen

Sandman – no, you’re thinking of Elton from LINDA, which happens much later and he never gets as far as the dressing robe :D he quit after the shirt stage.
The dressing robe with the fruit belonged to the butcher that Jackie was dating. Rose knew him, or of him, as the butcher. Now she knows he gets hungry in his sleep.

  255. Doctorparadox

I personally think his face reminds me of a young one or three. what do you guys think? I mean he doesn’t look like eight except for the hair.

  256. carol

Doctorparadox, I think you are right. It does look like a young 1 or 3. Hmmmm..

  257. nightfly

I see some nine in him, especially the eyes.

  258. Grimley Fieendish

    Re: Hiliary’s last post
Good luck with the move, as they can be quite chaotic, IMO…

  259. Faul T Wiring

I’m trying to find any of 7’s resemblance…no success though. Maybe I should put my glasses on once in a while.
I note question marks on the waistcoat.

Todays comic makes a nice birthday present.

  260. Faul T Wiring

Oops…my birthday’s on the 10th. It is the 10th in Oz…at about 10 in the morning. Stupid time zones.

  261. Darren
  262. DoctorParadox

why is the last pic forbidden of william hartnell forbidden and I feel its almost a mixture of a young pertwee and hartnell.

  263. Tom

Since you used Pertwee’s Doctor Who song as a quote, I hope at some point a companion says, “Doctor in Distress! Let’s all answer his SOS!”

  264. Elliee Vaness

Rich, I suddenly can’t help wondering: is the description you post under the page the same one you use to remember what happens in the story?

  265. Mark

Is there going to be another long(ish) interregnum between episodes?

  266. nightfly

I don’t know… but it was a nice excuse to use the word “interregnum”! ;)

  267. Rorschach

If you look up the page a way you will note that Rich and Hilary are in the process of moving house. So for the next two of three weeks they will be a bit busy.

There may not be a complete break in new pages appearing*, but it certainly won’t be one a day for a while.

    *though there may be.

  268. Mark

Interregnum is a sadly underused word.

I can’t see anything of Eccleston in the hybrid Doc.

Unless all that hair is hiding his sticky out ears

  269. slj87

I’m on total 10 Docs withdrawal! I hope your move goes well though!

  270. Scott

I love this strip. It’s fantastic.

It occurs to me that this combo-Doctor should be saying “MY will against yours”. He is and always has been one person, after all. If you combined with your grade school self, your high school self, your college self, etc., you would still be just you. In fact that’s what you are today: the sum of your memories. Which is, come to think of it, for the Doctors at this point, simply Number 10.

But that is just a passing thought. This comic is wonderful and I wouldn’t change a thing.

  271. Rich

Hey gang, sorry about the long wait. We are, as you know, moving and living out of boxes. Evenings are largely spent trying to keep up with normal life and packing. Weekends have included trips to the new place, trips to hardware stores… busy busy busy. Work has also gotten busy busy what with the current season of “Bo on the Go” winding down.

I have started the next page. I’m trying to get through it, but it’s a bit of a fight between my muse and my desire to just turn off completely. I have, in fact, started the next page about 5 or 6 times. It’s a tricky one and I’m having trouble getting it done. So bear with me, it could go up any day.
Again, sorry for the delay, but life happens.

  272. Lewis

Don’t worry about it – we’d rather wait and get an awesome page than a rushed one :D

  273. DarrenAdams

    Still hanging on…..

And quite worth the wait. You have spoiled us with your recent daily contributions!

  274. WhiteRyder

I love this comic, but I just wanted to say I also love reading so many of the comments. I’m still a bit new to the Who universe, so sometimes I don’t pick up on all the great little touches Rich puts in the story until I read the comments. ;)

  275. Maki P

What? Still no update? Oh man, I should have known this! Rich always cuts when things are about to get cool! Damn you and you’re amazing cliffhangers! And the worst is I have to look at the UberDoctor without doing something (sorry he just freaks me out a little)
Oh well never mind life goes on, I’m used to wait. It’s just a bit frustrating with the one is very likely to be the first comic I finish! Damn it! You’re too good for our own good!

  276. Serosis

    To Rich:

Never try to rush anything, always go at the pace of the moment otherwise you’ll end up with something sub-standard.

I’m about 1 serial away from ‘The Three Doctors’, can’t wait :D

  277. Pattysol

Don’t worry about the time, Rich. We love your work (this page and the last one are brilliant), and we can wait.

Good luck with the moving for you and Hilary

  278. Jonathan

Scott: I had thought of that too, but think of this uberdoctor as you (as you currently are) plus all your memories (and personality) again (which also includes your elementary school memories) plus your elementary school memories (and personality) again. All in one. Or, at least that’s how I figure it must be to make sense.

  279. Serosis

If you really think about it, each incarnation of the Doctor is an entirely new person (which he is) and at times has a completely rewritten personality. Each with his own little quirks, traits, and whatnot.
Even if you apply that to “humans”, earlier ‘versions’ of yourself are gonna be vastly different than the older counterparts

In a sense the 10 incarnations of the Doctor are different ‘people’ with the same memories, some with a better memory than others and in combining to create the ‘Quantum Doctor’ he will mostly likely refer to himself as a group instead of an individual.

  280. Colonizer

Brilliant! But what do we call it? Gestalt Doctor? MetaDoctor? Voltron Doctor? Brings up all sorts of metaphysical problems, as the doctors protest that they cannot cross their own timelines despite the fact they have done so often. Now the tenacity of the Dalek race (how many times have they been “wiped out” now?) versus the omnipresence of the Doctor will be a fitting showdown… oh, and what happened to 2.5?

  281. DeathlySerenity

It should have been a banana :P

    No wait….was it an orange?

I dunno the point it that 9 should have had a banana and 10 should have had the screwdriver XD

This comic is so going to get a mention, a brief one, but a mention in my doctor who audio fan series. ^_^

  282. Mark

Rich, take all the time you need. RL is far more important than our slobbering.

    Incidentally, Mark_with_sickly_purple_moon_avatar != Mark_with_grumpy_triangle_avatar .

  283. ukgnome

Hi Rich – Lovin your work :)

With regards to the sonic debate about that sodding screwdriver…..
You are right that 2 used the device, 3 was more found of his martial arts, 4 used it as a lock pick…so on and so forth.

Now heres the thing, in the battle of cannary worf (yes spelt incorrectly, but it makes me think of a yellow singing Klingon) so I digress, I will start again….

Now here’s the thing, in the battle of torchwood one, at torwchwood tower. The daleks refer to the device as a sonic probe. It is only the doctor that calls it a screwdriver. Sonic = uses sounds, Probe = er probing. By utilising soundwaves lots of things can happen. Scans on unborn babies, etc. Although I do agree that RTD took it a bit far by reconnecting barb wire in the empty child. But then again I am not a psyics bod, and I do not fully understand alien tech. So WHO knows (apologies for the pun)

  284. Mitchell Craig

    ukgnome: Canary Worf, huh?

Singing Klingons remind me of Klingon Opera, which is irritable bowel syndrome set to music.

On a semi-serious note, the sonic screwdriver was destroyed in the Classic Who episode “The Visitation” because it had become a lazy way for writers to get the Doctor out of trouble. I wouldn’t be surprised if that happened in the next series. Although it might not happen, if only because it’s such a cool-looking gadget that makes a great toy (and handier than a lightsaber).

Rich: Get at least one more page out here – we’re starting to babble on (Five) about nothing in particular.

No prob, Rich, just do what you can when you can. :) What I want to see if I’m right about Ten and this all being…No, no spoilers. :P If I am right then I’ll go YAY! ;)

  286. EricInWisconsin

Take what time you need, Rich. We’re here at YOUR convenience, not the other way around.

Just make sure that you don’t lose track of which box you packed your muse in. ;)

  287. Scottimus Prime

    @ Mitchell: there’s always NARN Opera… ;)

    EricInWisconsin: uh-oh!
*starts poking air holes in Rich’s boxes*
ukgnome: The Doctors broken his screwdriver before – noticably in Smith&Jones where he makes a fuss about it – he just hops back into the tardis and makes a new one nowadays. We know they get fancier as time goes by.
“Rose – I’m trying to resonate concrete!”

I think it was an orangy type of fruit the 10th threw. Tangerine I think. Something like that…I’m hopeless woth names.

Hey hold on a bit . . . if Quantum Doctor is the merging consciousness of all Ten Doctors then it’s only a purge of the Dalek consciousness yet to go. But really the Quantum Doctor should have been the merge consciousness of the Nine Doctors with Tenth Doctor Consciousness still being in between the Dalek and the Quantum Doctor consciousness in the last panel.

And then you have the Quantum Doctor consciousness absorbing the Tenth Doctor consciousness before purging the Dalek consciousness in the next page.

Rich, I think that you have skipped a page. It must be because you were too keen to get this page out of the way and you and Hilary doing the moving.

  291. ukgnome

Just re-read my post and realise that it wasn’t RTD than reconnected barb wire but infact it was moffat. *hangs head in shame*

  292. Child of Zion

Woah…lots of stuff going on. Well, that’s what I get for not getting on often enough, I suppose. *Headdesk*

Good luck on your move, Rich and Hilary! *Prepares, excited, to “Turn the page”*

    Totally agree with Vroom Socko;

Having just relooked at Forgotten issue 6, this feels a lot like it…. Still love it, love it here, and love it there.

  294. 14thdoctor

Wasn’t the fruit in the Doctor’s pockets an orange though?

  295. MegElemental

Oh, they’re jelly babies!!! I thought they were chips!! It’s not your drawing, Rich, it’s my eyesight. Sorry. I love the Uber Doctor, as Korafrax called him. Hilarious!!!

  296. Anna

Doctor mix! When I imagine the ultimate doctor, he looks a bit like that.
