As you’ve no doubt noticed from the ads down the left hand column, we are now affiliated with amazon.com! If you buy anything from amazon by following one of our links (even things that aren’t being advertised on our site at that precise moment – going through the link flags your cart for one session), we get a teensie little commission that can go to things like keeping Rich in pencils and sketchbooks. Yes, we’re shameless. Also, buying a house and broke. ;) This is an experiment, so they may vanish if the ads are more irritating than they’re worth – we’ll see how it goes over the next couple of months. If you’d like to see a different product mix (more toys, fewer dvd sets, etc), let me know here. If you just want to call us money-grubbing slaves to Internet 2.0, that can go here too! We’re easy like that.

Cool cool :D I always buy from amazon anyway, coming here and clicking the ad will be easy enough. Anything to help keep you guys running.

thats kool. but could it be below the recent comments?

Putting an ad too low defeats the purpose of having an ad. It kind of HAS to be “above the fold” or it’s never going to be seen, let alone clicked….

great! I can pre-order Freakazoid season 2 and Tiny Toons, and feel good about making Rich’s pencils happy! Hazahhh!

no problem, Rich. I use AdBlock plus, so I don’t see the ads anyway, but I’ve disabled it on your site so I can make all of my amazon purchases (which tend to be considerable) via “clickthru” rather than “direct traffic.” I think this is a wonderful way for your loyal readership to show our appreciation (economic stimulus we can all get behind!!!!)

  6. Whatsit

As long as it isn’t an animated side banner, I’m cool with it.
    I have dial-up, see….

Glad to see you’ve got a UK link – I use Amazon so much I’m a Prime member!

Good going Rich – just got to remember to visit your site first.

Could you do anything similar with Play.com/PlayUSA? Some of their DW stuff is a little cheaper, sometimes (DW TimeSquad, etc)
