4, 6, and 9? Oh good heavens!
I wonder if it bugs the other Doctors how No. 1 keeps calling them “young men.” I mean, I guess they are younger physically, and probably none of them had their persona on for as long as 1 was the man he is, but each of them still has more accumulated knowledge and experience than he does. Technically, they’re taking orders from a guy who’s half their age. In a given sense of “technical,” that is.

sounds like my dream piece of artwork (wish i could draw)
since the five doctors, i’ve dreamed of nice landscape image, with the doctors off in pairs, on an obviously alien planet, partaking in various activities, two and three arguing over some plant or species, one and six reminising while six is fishing, four and five playing cricket, and so on… while susan watches fondly sitting on a rock/hill beside the tardis…..
so far havent found anyone to come to my rescue

I love the story you are creating and the way you are writing the characters. Multi-era just fascinates me. I loved the fact that you are dealing with 9’s fixation with Rose (the others would definately notice it) and the bickering among them… How can them find themselves superior to an future regeneration is beyond me!!!
Anyway, the companions should save themselves and then the Doctors, cause we all know he has a propensity to attrack trouble…And 8th? Why is he in Gallifrey instead of being with the rest of him? I still didn’t get it.
Also, I’m just cracking up with the rivalry between Ace and Rose…

They’ll be updating every day until sometime on the weekend, they’re already drawn and scanned in, so yeah, at least until Sunday, methinks. Then I’ve got to draw more.
As for why the 8th Doctor is on Gallifrey, the other Doctors are speculating that he is at the core of the temporal manipulations. They think he’s being made to do something, or prevented from doing something that will dramatically change the outcome of the Last Great Time War. 10 was vacationing on the Eye of Orion and all the subsequent Doctors were manipulated to arrive there deliberately, possibly to get them out of the way somehow so they couldn’t interfere.
Meanwhile, all over the Doctor Who universe, hell breaks loose.
Excellent work, sir! Clever writing, heartfelt illustration, and a vibe that I haven’t felt in quite some time. Should you ever manage to put all of this in a hard copy format, I would be among the first in line to acquire a copy.

I’m a little surprised that Doctor One isn’t more surprised at having companions at all. That early in his life, he didn’t care much for the well-being of aliens he didn’t even know. And he certainly wasn’t one for socializing much with them. He probably thinks his future selves have gone a bit mad… especially considering their senses of fashion…
Yes, there’s a lot o things that 1 had a hard time with. But one presumes that at some point there was a massive ‘memory sharing’ scene offscreen and he’s now just dealing. He can give ‘em all what for later.
And he will!

I love how amused 3 looks and how much 5 isn’t looking forward to it.
And of course, 2 and 7 are an awesome team.
I love how One looks and acts older than everyone else when he’s actually the youngest of them all. And Ten? The precise opposite.

I always wanted 2 and 7 to have an adventure together. They’re both the shortest doctors, and both quite similar in character.

My friend still thinks 6 is a crackhead. Drat. And 9 is a serial killer (what…? Any help appreciated with the resemblace there. I think he just wants to hate it.)

Hi. I am new to this comic (and I know you have written MILES more since this page) but I just wanted to say at this point that it is awesome. Because I am only just 25 and from Australia (And only remember odd bits and pieces from Tom Baker’s era, I am very much a big fan of 9 & 10 (LOOOVE 10!)- and as a consequence 5 (Once I saw him in Time Crash, I decided to read up on him). So, I am learning what all the other Doctors were like as I read this. Your little blurbs under each page, and the comments are incredibly helpful at filling in some of the blanks. And I am LOVING it! Just out of interest’s sake, I am writing a fan fiction right now, where the two of them meet up in my own little Alternate Universe series (taking place after Voyage of The Damned and before Series 4). I am 10’s companion from the real world, (our world) and I got sent to a reality where the characters of TV shows are real and on one of our adventures, 10 & I run into 9 before he meets Rose in Series 1. So, he’s still all alone and fresh from whatever happened in the Time War before Series 1 of the new series. I just think it’s interesting how 10 & 9 are interacting here in this story, as opposed to in my own. It’s quite different. I really am enjoying your take on it. The contrast is awesome. In mine, they are quite narky with each other.
@Celticfox: don’t be silly! They can’t kill each other they’d undo themselves! Although, 6 might kill 9
@Levanta: you know both Six (Colin Baker) and Ten (David Tennant) have appeared naked, right? Colin did some cheesy 70’s magazine photoshoot, and David did it in a play. There’s photos of him on stage, naked except for a London Bobby’s hat.
Love that number 1 gives 9 a dressing down…hmm.
So 1 assigns a “short team” a “personable team” and an “emotional wack-job team”??!?! Really, 4,6 and 9 working together? Was this really the best of plans? 1 appears to have more of a sense of humor than I give him credit for.
I have been ‘into Who’ since last year and slowly catching up with the original series. Stumbled into this comic lately and it is awesome! You have captured the Doctors so wonderfully! 2, 7 and 10 are my favourites and I just love how you picture them. I would long to have this comic in print!

As for who’s in charge, it could only ever be Number 1. Force of personality you see: no one could ever push old Bill around. (’specially not that wimpy 10!)
