The joke isn’t dyslexia here. Every English speaking country* in the world but one, calls the rear compartment of a vehicle , a “Boot”. A TRUNK is a piece of luggage or an Hefalumps long snoz.
* No right or wrong in this, of course. Just one true English and many dialects for the ill educated.
